"Every time we go to Cookstown and visit the fantastic CFC Interiors shop visit Stephen in curtains and fabrics, Louise in carpets and Anya in giftware) we feel compelled to go for a cuppa or for lunch upstairs in Lucy 's Loft. The food is excellent it has justly been awarded a 5 rating), tasty and all the homebaked goodies are almost irresistible, especially the roulade, banoffee, lemon meringue and the apple tarts. We have never been disappointed and the coffee is 'perfecto ', the cappuccinos are made with love according to one of the staff! The owner I presume that is Lucy) and her friendly and helpful staff are always welcoming and the place is definitely worth a visit."

Small and compact little restaurant overlooking a large home furnishing CFC store. Enjoyable light lunch.

This is an example of where researching somewhere to have coffee in Cookstown paid off. A hot coffee and cherry scone that was comforting and hit the spot. The other food that was served looked good also. Staff welcoming and very good.

Whenever I'm in Cookstown, I always make sure to visit this restaurant. The food is delicious and always fresh, with a wide variety of choices and tasty daily specials. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and there is ample parking available behind the building.

I stopped by today to browse sofas and ended up staying for a meal because I got hungry! It turned out to be a great decision! I had the broccoli and cauliflower soup, which was delicious, and a half sandwich. My friend ordered the smokey joe panini and loved it! We planned to split the homemade pecan pie but were too full. We will definitely be back to pick out a sofa and will visit this restaurant again. What a great find! Speisekarte ansehen

Lunch was superb. Not haute cuisine but without deficit. We hoped for a quick 'ordinary ' lunch but what a surprise. Friendly efficient staff. Good choice of food. Coleslaw was in the top 1% of any that we have tasted. Everything seemed to be freshly cooked but there was no undue delay. Ingredients top class. Puddings we only had one each but other choices looked equally good (what we ate was excellent). Decent coffee. And the overall price was surprisingly modest.

I was not familiar with Cookstown, so I turned to Trip Advisor to find a good spot for lunch. Thanks to the positive reviews, I decided to try Lucy's Loft and was glad I did. I had a delicious and hot vegetable soup with a half sandwich for just under £6. The meal also came with a generous side of chips that were not greasy at all, which I thought was great value. The oatmeal square I had for dessert was also tasty. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers and the staff were friendly to all. I would definitely recommend Lucy's Loft for lunch and will return if I am in the area again.

"Been twice lately as a couple , both times during midweek in the evening for dinner. We will not be back which is unfortunate as it’s within walking distance to us. Very poor and unacceptable. Used to enjoy coming here as our local but the food served midweek is borderline embarrassing. Unfortunately it’s not nice to say but true The lasagne served to us was 100% the exact same one that a local butcher in the town sells for a quarter of the price. The presentation of the food is poor lasagne and chicken fillet burger were served on the corner of the plate, one the other corner there was a few salad leaves which had brown tinges on them. This is the second time in a few months salad has been served to us in the Greenvale top bar and it’s going off and visibly brown. A friend of mine, his wife and parents complained about the poor quality of rare steaks served to them before Christmas 2022, the manager was very unprofessional in how he dealt with the matter. I believe the glenavon offers much better value across the road and a better experience. The Greenvale is very expensive for what it serves the menu is typical northern Irish meals that you can purchase in any butchers or shop in the town. Will not be back as we gave it a second chance after the last time. I think it’s one of these places that has its regulars who have come for years and won’t hear a bad word about their local. Villa Vinci and other local restaurants are miles above this and cheaper."
