Lytton Arms - Speisekarte

Great atmosphere, welcome and food. Staff attentive and on the ball, being a larger group it was a welcome effort when the order was taken at the table.

I decided to stop for lunch on a whim as I was passing by and the car park was full. It turned out to be a great choice as the lunch was delicious. I ordered the truffle mac and cheese and chili mussels. They also had a great selection of beer and the staff was very friendly.

Second visit here but the first one for food. This is an absolutely delightful pub with a very countrified feel to it. The garden is a real sun trap and overlooks rolling fields. Decor tasteful and welcoming. Great food and service there was nothing not to like or enjoy. We will definitely be returning. Speisekarte ansehen

The food was delicious, the seating was comfortable, but the real standout was Danielle, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. I have a non-standard allergy and she went above and beyond to guide me through the menu to find a safe choice. This was the best assistance I have ever received in relation to my allergy at any restaurant. Danielle truly made my dining experience exceptional.

We had an amazing meal At The Lytton Arms. The service was brilliant very attentive. They let us have our table early and bought our drinks over to us. We hadn’t seen each other for a while and the poor waitress had to keep coming back whilst we made up our minds but she was so lovely and patient. The food was delicious from starters to desserts. I would definitely recommend going there. If you like real ales there is a great selection. 10 out of 10 for everything

We called in to the Lytton with friends for a catch up and a couple of drinks, but we stayed for lunch and had a great time. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the service was excellent. They have good beers, kept perfectly which isn 't always the case in some other traditional pubs. John runs a great ship and his staff are a real credit to him. The food was exceptional, and we all had plate envy watching other peoples meals coming out. You HAVE to try the baily 's crème Brule! We had a perfect end to our 11km Saturday morning walk from Welwyn Garden City at this restaurant. We arrived early for our lunch reservation and enjoyed a couple of pints from their great selection of craft beers in the bar. The restaurant was very busy, so I would recommend making a reservation. Both of our meals (sausage and mash, and venison steak) were delicious. We were too full for dessert. The service was friendly and there was a lively atmosphere that felt very child-friendly, with several groups of young children. There also appeared to be a nice garden area for when the weather is warmer. We will definitely be returning soon!

Service very poor we waited for ever and a day for the food which is expensive as is the drinks I had prawns very very chewy cd not eat them and didn’t want to take the risk I was informed they wd speak to the chef no one come back to say anything on the matter When the bill arrived the prawns were fairly taken off It was a very cold day we asked if the radiator cd be put on as we were in the conservatory this was agreed and did not happen Some food was lovely to be fair but not mine Some of the staff pleasant a couple of them very sour faced to say the least Cdnt pay at the table as staff cdnt manage to deal with it had to go to the bar to pay and queue up We won’t return sadly ruined a goo...

Had lunch yesterday with a friend who was visiting from Oxford, we called 15 minutes before arriving to ensure there was plenty of space for us and we were told they could absolutely accommodate us. On arrival we were told to sit anywhere and at the time we were the only ones in the conservatory. We were not greeted or given menus and so I had to go to the bar to collect them. We were not told of the specials and the service was just all a little lacklustre. Once given the bill we were told someone would be back with the card machine but again we were forgotten about so I took our bill to the bar and paid on our way out.
