"Nonostante non fossimo sulla terrazza perché pioveva, la location e la vista sul duomo erano suggestive, immagino che in estate la terrazza sia magnifica. Unica pecca, abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare il ristorante visto che non è specificato che si trova dentro la Rinascente, questo ha danneggiato un po' la location visto che per arrivare al ristorante che è molto chic bisogna passare per il negozio e per altri bar molto meno chic...Per il resto, il servizio è ottimo, camerieri molto gentili e ospitali. Abbiamo preso una focaccia, una cotoletta e una bistecca ed era tutto ottimo, molta attenzione ai particolari, anche i contorni di verdure e le patate erano molto buone. Di fronte a delle piccole richieste cambiare il contorno, mettere la stracciatella a parte... si sono dimostrati sempre estremamenti disponibili."

The view is amazing. The restaurant offers an unparalleled vantage point to enjoy the magnificence of this iconic landmark. Not only is the view incredible, but the food at Maio is equally delightful.

Resturant was booked out online so thought we tried our luck by walking in. Luckily enough, someone didn't show up to their booking so we were given a table within 10 mins. Roof top dining right across the Duomo so the view was amazing. Food was delicious. The only down side is that portions were small.

Great location as you can see the church while dining. Food taste good except the omelette is a bit too salty. The waiter is however not too friendly. They are not rude or anything but I dont feel welcome when I walk in and when I was ordering. I guess they are under staff so they are busy and can not smile.

Nel cuore di Milano, nella terrazza della Rinascente che si affaccia sulle guglie del Duomo, il ristorante offre il top per quanto riguarda non solo la location ma anche il servizio, la disponibilità e la cortesia del personale, con un menù ristretto ma essenziale e soprattutto di qualità, impiattato e presentato con gusto e fantasia: prezzi adeguati a quanto sopra.

I’ve been here with my friend for lunch. The location is very nice, right on the rooftop of Rinascente where you can admire the Duomo. Food was good but in my opinion a bit pricey. We paid 97€ for a bottle of water, one apetizer and 2 main dishes and 2 coffees… I’m a local not a tourist and 1 espresso for 3,50€ it’s a shame in Italy. Even in Cova or Marchesi is cheaper

posto sulla terrazza del Rinascimento di Milano. sia interni che esterni. durante il fine settimana non prendere prenotazioni se non sul posto. personale disponibile e cordiale. alcuni piatti ma speciali. Sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla tartare e invece deluso dal risotto allo zafferano. buona qualità dei vini. sicuramente un luogo molto turistico dove la posizione colpisce molto sul prezzo finale.

Semplicemente magico !! Essere all’aperto i primi giorni di Gennaio, in un ambiente accogliente perfettamente riscaldato e addobbato per le feste , con personale gentile e cortese , sarebbe già il massimo … ma se a questo aggiungi il fatto di essere davanti al cima del Duomo di Milano ammirando la sua Madonnina e tutte le sue guglie, mentre sorseggi il tuo aperitivo o la tua cioccolata con panna, o le fantastiche mandorle salate oppure il tuo filetto alla griglia …. ecco che diventa un momento “magico”… che non ha prezzo!

We had dinner here a Saturday evening in the beginning of March. Since they have two fixed seatings for dinner, guests arrive at the same time and food is served to all guests at about the same time. This means we suffered some glitches, like the high end wines we had ordered were served when we had already eaten half our main course. Portions were small but cooked to perfection. We had been given a table close to the windows on the terrace so the view over the Duomo was splendid. The public is a mixed crowd of all ages. Too touristy for our taste.
