A very nice discovery this very atypical restaurant and a fabulous welcome. We feel good and a very good kitchen. Let's support small merchants even in times of roadwork. It does not remove anything from the charm of this restaurant. Thank you for this good moment

There are not enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe the excellence of this intimate restaurant, its exquisite cuisine and the kindness of Bruno, the master of the place. Go to lunch at 'La Maizon' and your taste buds will be marvelled, all shady and served in a highly appreciated artistic and cultural setting.

I would say do not miss this magnificent authentic gem. The owners huge heart shows through in every way-- the beautiful delicious homemade Fig Jam, fresh juice, outstanding Cappuccino and delightful croissants and bread, cheese platter, and the warm and inviting interiors. We have been in the south of France for a week, and so far, this is my favorite lunch spot. It's like an oasis of calm and comfort. The owner has an eye for decoration, is hospitable, and is a good cook, as well. There will be a limited number of choices each day, but don't worry about that if you were eating at your friend's house, you wouldn't have this many choices, but you'd still be happy. That's what it's like here. Go. (Check opening hours. I believe he's currently not open for dinner.

My daughter and I were on a spontaneous and very short trip to Nice. We were very lucky to find Maizon for lunch. What a charming, modern and real French place. The food was fantastic: French sausage with lentils (not what my 12-year-old would usually chose but she absolutely loved it). The finish with homemade strawberry mint icecream and a cafe au lait was just perfect. We loved the restaurant interior from the different tables and chairs all the way to the cutlery and the glasses. If you visit Nice, this is the place to go! Thanks again!

An address to be found in Nice in local or in transit! A weekly menu with a selection of some seasonal dishes, Simple and very tasteful. I tested an excellent Mediterranean salad with an original vinaigrette and a bologna zucchini dish. I succumbed twice to delicious gourmet coffee! The restaurant is also a charming place where you feel like at home with a reading corner, antique furniture unfolded... It is also a place of culture, which serves as a gallery for local artists. A little late writing this review as we visited Nice some months ago! My wife and I stopped by this little restaurant out of hours after lunch had finished and very little food was available throughout Nice, however Ralf was very welcoming and treated us to a charcuterie plate made from scratch with lovely cheese and meats, including home cured pork slices with rosemary if memory serves me correctly. Delicious. A lovely restaurant with very friendly, accommodating and welcoming owners. Next time we are in Nice we will definitely re-visit.Thank you!

On our trip to Nice we visited Maizon for breakfast, having read great reviews...it did not disappoint. A very friendly welcome from two fantastic hosts followed by scrumptious scrambled egg, meats, cheeses, fresh breads, orange juice and coffee. We returned early afternoon for another breakfast, to be greeted to an all you can eat buffet of salads, chicken, cheeses and breads, followed by three fantastic deserts. Would highly recommend for a relaxed, French foodie experience in a quirky and homely environment. The perfect place to take time out from your day and slow the pace down!

I have never left a review before but felt it necessary for this lovely place - we found that customer service in Nice was not always the friendliest for tourists and often felt uncomfortable but the staff in Maizon were so friendly and welcoming and really brightened up our day! We had the 12 euro pp breakfast of pastries, bread, cheese and ham, fresh coffee and OJ, eggs and homemade fig and apricot jams. Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. The restaurant also had a lovely modern and quirky decor as well.This was the one place I had found when browsing trip advisor beforehand and I am so glad of that! Speisekarte ansehen
