simply fell in and had a very tasty meal and pudding. a very enjoyable menu courteous staff on what must have been a very busy day

The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the real ale and food. The beer was well kept. The steak and ale pie, as recommended by the waitress, was brilliant. Scampi and chips was also very good wIth really crispy proper chips.

Just returned from a week's holiday in Church Stretton and tried here on the first night. The choice of meals and the quality were excellent, the service from the staff could not be faulted with them all being both cheerful and helpful. on the first weekend of the dining room our Sunday dinner has enjoyed properly. beautifully cooked meat and vegetables, and plentiful. with the availability of GF-Rollen and GF-Desserts we could not resist making it a 3-course menu. very friendly and helpful service...from hazel also. welcome back!

Very friendly welcome, nice environment, enjoyed a tasty and good sized meal consisting of 2 x Roast Beef dinners and 2 puds. Total came to £40 including 3 drinks. Service excellent, waitress Heather attentive without being a nuisance. Don’t be put off by website stating...Sports bar as the Restaurant area is separate and not noisy on the occasion we visited. Will visit again next time we’re in the area.

What can I say... The staff in this place are a dream! We popped in after a walk with our doggie and they were very accommodating of him, we had a good seat in the bar area and the team even made us pork baguettes...especially as we weren't aware that it was a Sunday lunch menu only that was running, and we were only looking for a light bite. I will definitely return next time I'm in the area, and would really recommend stopping over. Charming country pub that deserves all the love Speisekarte ansehen

Had a Sunday Roast here last year and it was amazing. Came back here last Sunday, for another, and it was also amazing. Friday 1st October we visited for lunch and I had the most amazing sirloin steak with blue cheese sauce. It was cooked...to perfection, very succulent and incredibly tender. My Wife had the Dirty cheesy chips with bacon and bbq sauce which She loved. Heather and her staff are very friendly and we will be back in the near future. Thanks for having us. Nigel Paula Noone.

visited yesterday for Sunday dinner, we had not booked, but could sit. Eat was nice, there were 2 beef dishes 1 gay and 1 truthahn fry, lots of fresh vegetables and a big yorkie and the gravitation was nice and thick, we would. had the 3 courses, but were on time for a sick house appointment. we will return definately and enjoy their hospitality and the three courses. I am a little thrilled by other demands of the peoples. (Bigger plates) they can always stop as there was a lot of food. (private witz.) until soon

From the second we stepped foot inside to when we left, we were made to feel so welcome by the really lovely staff. They helped bring our pushchair inside, found two high chairs for the other children straight away, drinks were bought to the table...immediately and our food order came pretty quickly too! They definitely went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and they certainly made the children feel welcome too. The menu had good variety, and the children’s options were great (the portion sizes for the little ones were perfect). Our meals were all delicious and we left uttering the words “well we’ll go there again!” Thanks for a fab lunch. Speisekarte ansehen
