"Almost at the top of Cours Sextius it is easy to walk past Mama Pig without realising that it does foodThe front half is a cafe with about 16 covers and an open kitchen. At the back is a a room with pictures of tattoos and various items of clothing and books on sale and on display (like an upmarket fashion shop/ art shop/ museum place all in one) - there is also a room with a big window that you can look into. It looks like a clinic/dungeon. There were stairs leading downstairs that we did not exploreMost the staff wore lots of tattoos - but this is not an intimidating place - they were all beaming and friendlyThere is a short menu offering brunch/ cafe foodThere is a display of American and British food on displayThe menu nods strongly towards the USA - macaroni cheese, baked beans and burgers, but also has French sandwiches and pastriesThe lady who does the cooking is not tattooed and makes everything from scratchI ordered a burger and I saw her cut the cabbage and carrot and dress it to make the slaw. Similarly my wife's cheese and tomato sandwich required one of the other staff to go out and return with fresh tomatoes which were then sliced and added to the sandwich being constructedJuices turned up in jars and the salt and pepper pots are in tine confiture jars - very amusingThe food was very good - the burger really tasty with sweet mustard in swirls on the toast enclosing the freshly cooked meat patty and salad leaves. I also got a plate of baked beans - haricot and kidney beans and chick peas - in a tomato sauce with bacon and a sweetness that we presumed was maple syrup - warm and really delicious The toasted cheese and tomato sandwich my wife had was greatly appreciatedWe finished off with lovely coffeeThe cost was fairly minimalAs we were leaving the cook came rushing out with a bag with a brownie in it, on the house, for my young daughter who had decided not to eat with us. My daughter greatly enjoyed the brownie laterThe place is amusing and slightly edgy, it is immaculately clean. The toilets are quirky and cleanThe staff friendly, the food tasty and fresh and very reasonably pricedWe really enjoyed the experience"

Le service est excellent, chaussette est une personne accueillante et proche des clients.Le pulled pork est à tomber à par terre...Un véritable brunch sur Aix en Provence sans prétention et un accueil au top!!J'y retournerai sans aucun doute!!!

Très bons plats typiques d'un brunch américain, préparés sous vos yeux et servis avec le sourire, dans un lieu original, entre salle de tatouage, beaux livres en tous genres et décor éclectique. Petite parenthèse très sympa, allez-y et régalez vous !

Ce petit restaurant et tatouage offre le Brunch à l'Américain - c'est pas exactement comme on le mange aux Etats-Unis, mais c'est super quand-même ! La serveuse est excellente: elle est très sympa, gentille, et toujours souriante. Elle nous a répondu de tous nos questions sans problème ! Elle nous a même expliqué l'histoire du restaurant. Tout est fait-maison et devant nos yeux. Les biscuits et le Fluffernutter (beurre de cacahuète et Marshmallow Fluff sur une brioche) sont super bons ! Speisekarte ansehen

j'ai eu l'occasion de manger au Mama Pig il y a quelques semaines avec une amie alors que nous étions à la recherche désespérée d'un brunch à Aix un Vendredi matin.Nous avons eu la chance de trouver le "Mama Pig" avec sa carte alléchante et ses portions copieuses. De l'entrée au dessert ce fut un régal !Le service était très sympas et l'ambiance top.Ayant vécu 1 an aux US j'ai pu retrouver des saveurs que j'avais perdu (Mention spéciale pour les Pancakes une véritable tuerie). Cerise sur le gateau on peut acheter des produits américains (Chocolats hersheys et autres douceurs).Bref pour 17€ la formule, foncez-y et vous ne le regretterez pas :)
