The food was satisfying, but there was a delay of over an hour between the starter and the steak. The steak itself was decent.

Had another chopped salad and then a wonderful steak. The garlic bread was boring and dry but everything else was great. Excellent service.

The food was outstanding. The steak was very juicy, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were surprisingly generous, and we couldn't finish our meals. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I will definitely be returning, especially since we are moving to Canary Wharf! I had a business dinner there, and the service was excellent, as was the food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it was a great experience.

The three of us went to lunch at the Manhattan Grill at 12pm. It was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday. We were the only people there and when we left just after 1pm, only three tables were taken. Overall impression is that the food was acceptable, service sketchy for such a quiet day. The clam chowder was not creamy as I expected but a clear broth with bacon, celery and a few clams. We all ordered medium rare steaks for our main course. Mine with medium well done but the other two were fine. The chips were outstanding. Afterwards tea came without cup and saucer which arrived after a couple of reminders.

Choice of steaks is very limited for a place advertising itself as a steak house. Since I was quite hungry, I asked for a medium T-Bone, which was the only cut of meat on the menu above 10oz. in weight. I got a cold piece of meat that looked medium from outside but was completely red inside, and this was the first serious red flag. However, the point of cooking was not the main problem. The meat was tough and chewy at an unacceptable level. Sides were nice. Service was fine but too aggressive in pouring unwanted water and wine (had to stop them twice).
