Manicomio is slap bang in the heart of the square mile in what looks to be a small glass box. The glass box is designed by Sir Norman Foster and is actually three stories high but looks comparatively small in contrast to the towering buildings surrounding

very beautiful in the did!. the hotel is located in a rather quiet and quiet location of the city making for a more demanding and relaxed ambiente. it cries great and perfection of the friendly staff, ready to welcome and serve them with a fantastic appealing wise. to the decoration that was obviously very carefully selected! bravo!

in addition to the extensive take-away and feed-in facilities, manicomio sells a lot of Italian deli products, including pastas, sweets, olive oil and cheese. While all are quite expensive, there is definitely something to see in the waiting queue, and at an prise the basis for a last gift (for something more original than the standard hotel chocolat selection.)

the visit was disappointing after he had eaten here before and was delighted by the food and service. my starter, burrata was more wet than creamy and had little taste. the chicken milanese with grilled gem lettuce was pleasant, but nothing special. the service started well, but then fell away and had to drink after that which had been forgotten, not what they expect to the trips.

I have not visited this place since I last reviewed it some three years ago. Food and service are still good but it is now definitely overpriced, in my opinion. Leaving aside the cost of drinks, one almost certainly needs to factor in a side...dish with each main course which jacks up an already very full price. The addition of both a cover charge and a service charge is simply not reasonable, IMHO.

unbelievable in the city. this is a hot tip in a good lane that would normally keep me quiet, but the urban spoon app for the iphone is so cool. real Italian deli ingredients, coffee and wine in this cool building with a cafe bar arrangement down, then a restaurant in the first floor and cocktail bar in the top floor. eating is fab, they come on Thursdays and if more people find it, they need to book to get a table. I'm not saying.

our visit to manicomio was wonderful as always! I have to say that this is one of my favorite places to eat in london and the best Italian place. eating is always top quality, tasty and just on the point. we were served by...Fabrizio and enrique who took care of us for the best possible wise. her food suggestions, where just fits perfectly to our taste. I want to say a big thank you for such a great experience, I must say that fabrizio and enrique are definitiw a credit for the restaurant. I'll be back soon. p.s and carbonara best in town

three of us, all working colleagues had lunch late on Friday. I realized that I had been months ago for a late coffee on a afternoon with a customer. Today we went up and sat on a comfortable table on the side of the restaurant. buzzy atmosphere, many people, a little loud, but not insulting. Italian menu. I am on a whole food plant and was thrilled by the carburized artichoke flour. my colleagues have decided to make pasta. all the dishes tasted great. reasonable prices, approx. gbp 18 pp. good service and eating came in a reasonable time frame. we really enjoyed eating and the atmosphere. I'm back!

manicomio surprised me really positiw. manicomio is an Italian restaurant with 2 filials in london, one next to sloane square and the other near st pauls railway station, and I was a few times in the sloane square filiale over the years and never found it so amazing, but when I went last week to the city filiale, I was very positiw surprised, not sure why really filial, they have the the manicomio city restaurant has 3 etagens (we sat upstairs, third etage) and they use a elevator to get from one etage to the next, so it is a bit like so in farringdon, but here the menu is the same on all floors...read more
