Good savory pies and other savory snacks, excellent sweets and good coffee. I come here often for a brake when I'm working. Sometimes one has to wait too long to be serviced

it was broken for a fast cappuccino and it was excellent. faster friendly customer service. I can't comment on it. they have prepacked eating for pack-n-go. looks nice and comfortable for hungry traveling. directly via the entrance to the railway station in chur.

Stopped here to get lunch before boarding the Glacier Express. The cheese roll with beetroot relish was delicious and the bread was particularly good. The stars though were the cherry and apricot tarts with my particular favourite being the apricot one. All other savoury and...sweet snacks looked good too. Speisekarte ansehen

Traditional bakery and confectionery occupying a corner of the small square just opposite the train station in Chur. A local institution, run by the third generations of the same family sharing passion for baking and chocolate making. Overwhelming display of all things sweet and beautiful, pastries, cakes and chocolate pralines.

Wir machten hier Halt, um zu Mittag zu essen, bevor wir in den Glacier Express einstiegen. Das Käsebrötchen mit Rote-Bete-Relish war köstlich und das Brot war besonders gut. Die Stars waren jedoch die Kirsch- und Aprikosen-Törtchen, wobei mein besonderer Favorit die Aprikosen-Törtchen war. Auch alle anderen herzhaften und süßen Snacks sahen gut aus.

Gegenüber dem Bahnhof Chur ist dies eine durchschnittliche Bäckerei und Konditorei. Chur ist eine kleine Stadt mit weniger Möglichkeiten, daher ist dieser Ort oft überfüllt. Das Personal versteht kein gutes Englisch und kann die Zutaten der ausgestellten Lebensmittel nicht erklären, weshalb es dazu kommen könnte, dass Sie ein allergisches Lebensmittel zu sich nehmen, das Sie nicht essen wollten. I would recommend Cafe Maron to anyone who is in the area near Chur railway station. The staff are friendly no matter what time of day you visit early morning they have many choices of sandwiches etc should you want to make up a...picnic for train trael. The cakes and patisserie are divine and after a long day trip on the Bernina Express a glass of cold beer is very welcome too. They do start closing up around 7pm in summer so this is something to bear in mind when travelling inbound to Chur.

We stumbled on the Confiserie and thought it might be fun to try it. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. Although we double checked our order with the waitress (who had been very slow in getting to our table in the first place), she...finally brought us the wrong orders after a 45-plus minute delay: our requested mixed salads with hard-boiled eggs somehow came with sliced wurst on top, and even then, the vegetables weren't at all fresh and a promised side of bread never arrived. Unfortunately, the waitress disappeared so quickly that we couldn't track her down to get the order straight.
