You should eat here. I’ve just had a very tasty Roast Lemon Cod with Chorizo and Pea Hash plus Samphire washed down with a lovely lager. Excellent.

5 star all round. Food, ambiance, and service excellent no faults what so ever. I can't wait to return, thank you M bar for a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommend.

I had a delicious lunch in a surprising location. Who would have expected to find this hidden gem above a clothing store? The menu may be small, but it offers a variety of options, all made with fresh ingredients. The coffee was also excellent. Speisekarte ansehen

The full-service restaurant that offered meal service has been closed since Christmas 2022. It has now reopened as a coffee shop that serves snacks like baguettes. While it's still a good spot for coffee, you can no longer enjoy a full meal there.

There are hidden gems and then there are HiDDEN GEMS and this is one. Tucked away upstairs in a clothes shop, but don’t be put off the service and food are both outstanding and really great value for money. Don’t miss this if your looking for a great lunch.

Lovely food, and service. I'm vegan and they actually made a dish that was not on menu? It was delicious. I think that is a good sign of an excellent chef, who can think on their feet and make anything from whatever they have at the time in the kichen. very impressed. highly recommend. My first visit in a long time, I took a few friends to brunch. Excellent service, food and ambience. Loos are desperately in need of an upgrade. My friend who was a qualified Chef and who has worked in Michelin starred restaurants commented upon the quality of the food. Everything was very fairly priced. Our visit to this establishment was informed by the displayed food hygiene rating of 4/5 (Good).

Today was my first visit here and it certainly won’t be my last. The warmth of the staff was lovely to experience and they seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. We both had the Poke Bowl with halloumi and it was a stunning mix of flavours and textures. It was packed with gorgeous ingredients and was the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. I look forward to trying their breakfasts which I’m told are exceptional. As others have already said, it is indeed a hidden gem!

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with a friend, after hearing great reviews about the food. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed. The new chef in the kitchen was very friendly but slow, and the quality of the food was not up to par. The eggs on the griddle were overcooked, the black pudding looked undercooked, and the plates were cold. Without proper heating, the food quickly became cold as well. Although I was willing to pay a premium price for excellent food at the M-Bar, I could have gotten a similar breakfast at other places in town for a much lower price.
