"Overall very good indeed. Staff great: the attentive service managed to combine pleasant, friendly with professional efficiency. The venue is comfortable and airy with interesting décor, the facilities all well-appointed and sparkling clean. Good food demonstrating an attentive attitude to choice and tempting combinations. Portion control is obvious without being sparse just . The green vegetables were quite simply perfect, demonstrating high kitchen skills. Jolly good triple-cooked-chips. My main, a beef cheek Cottage Pie £3 supplement for some reason! was pleasant but really needed a gravy or sauce. We shall return."

"It was a fantastic experience for our team. Amazing 3 course meal with lip smacking and authentic Indian taste. Extremely friendly staff and top notch service. Landlord Mr. Nandu is a gem of a person and ensured all of us had an awesome time at the restaurant. Outdoor seating area was just perfect for the weather and Ample car parking space was a huge relief. I am coming back again soon. "We went out for a celebratory meal to mark our daughter's latest school report. We started with a couple of cocktails upstairs during their happy hour, which offers great drinks from a set menu without compromising on taste or quality. We also tried some of their new cocktails, which were fantastic. Our daughter had the Tangerine mocktail, which was delicious even without alcohol. For dinner downstairs, we ordered some of our favorites - snails, souffle, and prawn cocktail. For main course, we chose steak and veal, both of which were cooked perfectly. We ended our meal with crepe suzette and a couple of glasses of port. One glass of port had some sediment, but the team quickly resolved the issue. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, as always (we visit several times a year). Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes. Would I go again? Yes."

"Visited today on a recommendation from a friend …. What a lovely looking pub. We were greeted by smiley and courteous staff and everything felt right about this pub and restaurant. I had the fish cake stater, best I’ve ever had and my wife had the prawns …. best she’s ever had apparently, nice. The main course was the surf and turf, the steak which you cannot see in the photo as it’s hidden under the scampi, was succulent and very well cooked. What really impressed me was the salad served with the S T and my fish cake as this was a pleasant change to the limp, unimaginative salads so often served in less attentive establishments. We will be back with family and friends and I suggest you pay The George on the Green a visit, soon ….Mick Georgina from Chertsey, Surrey."
