This meant that we did not stay for coffee and we asked for the bill. We did mention this to the staff when we left and was told that it was opened as it gets smoky from the fire, however the fire was not even lit. For this caliber of restaurant and food, we would have expected much better service especially as this was charged at If the service would have been more friendly and accommodating then we would have had an evening to remember for the right reasons."

Everything was great. The Sunday roast was everything a roast should be, with great roast potatoes (so often a disappointment). The service was excellent. All in all, it was a lovely experience.
