the teestuben were fantastic. all staff were super friendly. my wife had a traditional tee while I went for ham, egg and chips. both were perfect! definitely a place to visit! there were also great walks and a beautiful norman church near.

A Christmas WI festive party evening. Wonderful warm welcome in beautifully decorated room. This venue is within the courtyard of Melbourne Hall. Beautiful food, generous portions and very friendly helpful staff. They accommodated our quizzes, and raffle with a smile. Well done.

We called today for lunch and had great food ample portions and well presented,i had The Cheese and caramel onion sandwich and my husband had a Ham omelette which was light and fluffy just how he likes them. The staff were all very pleasant and...helpful,we will be back. Thank you

my man and I went to lunch on a Wednesday, we sat outside, the staff are very friendly, they have a nice menu with a good selection of eating and drinking, the eating was spot on could not fail we had a plower and...ham, ei and chips, easy, but just perfectly made quite large portions so a nice place we go back

difficult to choose what was best; eating or service! I had a beautiful Valisian rarebit, followed by an amazing piece victoria sponge, which was radiated by the warm and friendly service. the tee room is deceptively large in the inner, but they have not decided. in the amount of tables to press, so feels spacious and inviting.

Came with 3 friends for afternoon tea and it was lovely! The staff were pleasant and attentive and there was plenty of food. One of us needed gluten free food which was no issue. The cake choices were amazing and we even ended up bringing...some home. Tea was constantly topped up and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return!

we loved our late midday talk. we were never before and were really impressed by the friendly and chatting service (approved that they were super busy) and the amazing food. we took away some cakes we enjoyed later. the teeroom itself was spacious, clean. and convenient not many tables that are clogged as they put at some places. we were glad we called in. great job!

Went there for lunch with 2 grandchildren. No children's menu and had to ask and informed that children could have anything off the main menu but not a lot of choice for them. We had wraps but not worth the money at all. The bill...was far more expensive than other places we have visited. The service was extremely slow even though it was not full. Will not go again, will try other places in Melbourne. For cake and tea maybe ok but not a full lunch.

We managed to get a table inside after a lovely walk with my partner up to Staunton Harold Reservoir. The selection of cakes, ice creams, cream teas, scones, salads, sandwiches are amazing and cater for everyone. I have a gluten allergy and had a wide...selection off the menu whilst being able to take a Gluten Free Victoria Sponge and a Lemon Sponge slice back home with me. The girls running it were absolutely lovely and friendly. Only issue I did see is that you weren't able to book for anything but an afternoon tea so I could see people getting annoyed. Maybe could provide more outdoor seating or arrange the tables differently as me and my boyfriend were on a table of 6 which could have be...
