"Boonnak is the best Thai restaurant in the area! I have been dining here for over 10 years and have enjoyed countless meals here, from intimate dinners for two to birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties. The menu has remained largely unchanged over the years and the owner has stayed the same, but the restaurant itself has continuously improved in terms of decor and atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, with our favorite dishes never failing to satisfy. We also enjoy trying new dishes, and the quality, taste, and portion sizes are always top-notch. "We had a lovely evening meal here with my friend. The salami plate was delicious with a good selection of authentic hungarian salamis. The chicken schnitzel was gently beaten into 2 thin slices of flavoursome pieces. Finished the evening with complimentary drinks (pálinka). We will definitely return again to try the goulash, stuffed cabbage or the stuffed pancakes Hortobágyi style. "I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional. We made a reservation and chose starters from the specials board, but we were also allowed to customize our pizzas from the menu—what great customer service! The starters were delightful, with generous portions that were incredibly tasty. The main courses were equally impressive; mine was both delicious and huge. I ordered a calzone tailored to my preferences, and it was cooked to perfection—well seasoned and utterly satisfying. The service was top-notch; Rebecca was particularly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding us through our choices. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!"

"After changing hands, we were naturally worried as we have been going to SALT for over 10 years. Little did we know the new guys would give it the va va voom SALT had all those years ago from day one. Danielle, Thea and the team make sure you are comfortable, well fed and certainly enjoy the experience. What I've enjoyed is seeing the new team sprinkle a little fairy dust on the already delicious menu by adding their own little something something. What more can you ask? Thea and her sweet treats will most certainly keep you coming back for more. We had a range of puddings: banana loaf, tea loaf (GF), brownies (vg) and a cherry tart. My sister is a vegan and as someone who has followed the vegan lifestyle CAKES CAN BE SO SLOPPY and brownies so dry. These were so delicious (I hate the word) but so moist! My partner had: the tots with lemon aioli and the Perky Pig and I had the Vegan's revenge. Really cannot wait to see what else Team SALT does. Absolutely magic team! Top job guys."

"Wonderfully welcoming and accommodating, and fantastic food, cooked to perfection. Chose this restaurant due to fantastic reviews. I 'm currently on a restricted diet and couldn 't see anything obvious on the menu for me, but since the restrictions make food a bit boring for me anyway, I thought my family may as well enjoy something delicious, even if I couldn 't. I emailed in advance to double check they could accommodate me and there would be something I could eat and they were very positive and willing, informing me they cook everything to order so anything could be left off according to my needs. The person I had emailed came over specifically to take our food order and help me find something from the menu, made different suggestions to make it more interesting, and had even googled the name of the diet I 'm on and been out to buy vegan mayonnaise especially for me. They gave me extras of things I could have to make up for bits I couldn 't. When my food came, it was exquisitely cooked and managed to be really delicious, despite me not being allowed lots of the things you 'd normally use to add flavour! My husband and parents were absolutely delighted with their starters and mains and saying things like 'it was worth coming to Blackpool just so we could eat here ' (it 's about a 6hr drive for us). We were too full for dessert so I can 't comment on that but with friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, and freshly cooked delicious food, I 'd thoroughly recommend!!!"
