Mirabelle - Speisekarte

Mirabelle at Eastbourne was lovely. Food was good but not exceptional. Service excellent.

Great experience as ever. Service a tad on the slower (than usual) side, but food and price excellent so overall experience was not too disappointing!!

Beautiful decor ambience. The food was first class the staff were fantastic we had a very nice time celebrating our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed every moment.

Been to this restaurant a few times and every time we have a truly fantastic meal. Both the food and service are terrific. As good as any top London restaurant. Worth a visit you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend

The Mirabelle was a lovely restaurant, but sadly lacking if you are a vegetarian.No choice available . Would expect something with a wow factor for that price. Otherwise staff were lovely and the pianist great. Would recommend for non vegetarians.

They did not have a booking for us. Apparently this happens quite a lot with Toptable bookings for the Mirabelle Restaurant!! Luckily they could accommodate us, but I understand that last week the couple who booked through Toptable were not as lucky! Great traditional restaurant, disappointing desserts as they were all heavily cream based therefore lacked variety!!

Mirabelle Restaurant has a new chef, Alex, and his team since September 2023. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a fantastic tasting menu. To top it off, we were treated to special chocolate desserts at the end of our meal. The tasting menu featured a variety of dishes, including seafood, lamb, and venison. The Grand Hotel, where the restaurant is located, is also beautifully designed.

We arrived at the Grand Hotel in appalling weather and our car was parked for us. We were seated at a large table with a window view. The pike souffle was divine, and the cheese souffle was perfect. The chicken main course was well cooked yet not exciting, but the slow cooked belly pork my daughter ordered, was superb, served with perfectly cooked vegetables. The saffron and honeycomb ice cream was the perfect finale. The service was discreet and attentive.

The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne is a magnificent building and the staff are always attentive. It is probably the only place where you can get fine dining in Eastbourne and it’s always my go to choice when celebrating for birthdays etc. I went for lunch yesterday with my wife and it was decidedly average. The service was impeccable, but the food was so-so. Portion sizes were very small and seasoning was hit and miss. Some dishes were tasteless. whereas others were very salty. To top things off coffee was sent back because it was lukewarm. I will go back there to eat, but I will be expecting better next time.
