A great place to taste a bit of italy. Mamma serves great food and do not get fooled by the chair and tables, the food is in top. Evrey Day the menu changes and the menu is limted by the Day. A must try if you are around the lake trasimeno.

Il locale è semplice, il personale accogliente e gentile certo sempre un po’ umbro.I piatti buonissimi, l’antipasto di lago servito con le varie salse molto buono. La carpa ottima e tiramisù fatto in maniera tradizionale senza panna quindi buono.Se dovessimo ritornare da queste parti sicuramente ceneremo di nuovo qui

I have just enjoyed a truly authentic Umbrian meal at this small restaurant. Delightful location perched on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno. A simple place with very tasty home cooked food. A winner! To try: tegamaccio (traditional fresh water fish stew), and tiramisu to finish all off. I ll keep coming whenever I am around. Speisekarte ansehen

Ho celebrato la prima comunione di mio figlio in questo ristorante. la posizione e la vista lago sono l'eccellenza di questo posto insieme alla gentilezza e alla grande professionalità dei proprietari Alessandra e gino. servizio impeccabile e cucina. abbiamo trascorso una giornata meravigliosa in questa perla della humbria. Torneremo assolutamente!

in una bella giornata, all'aperto con il lago di fronte a noi e una società ben associata abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di gustare i piatti ben preparati nella scanalatura della tradizione. ampio menù di carne e pesce di lago e carta di vino. materie prime valide; la pasta viene fatta a casa e l'uso di alimenti surgelati viene ridotto al minimo. il fritto, se presente, è sicuramente da provare. in media il valore del denaro.

A nice place up in the mountain on your way to Magione. The restaurant doesn't hand out menues but tells you everything they offer quite an adventure if your Italian is not so good. : The lady however is able to tell you the name of each dish in English and German. We had a fantastic antipasto misto and tagliatelle a ragú as primo. As a secondo they served wild boar with melanzane (eggplant very very delicious! We have always chosen this restaurant when the weather is good because we love to eat outside on the terrace. There is no written menu. The owner will read out to you what is available and in season for that day. We have always had the most delicious food. In particular the homemade pasta dishes with amazing sauces are excellent. The main courses in particular Ossobucco, lamb with tomatoes and Chicken in a hunters sauce are outstanding. They serve local wines from the Il Castello di Magione cantina, which are very good, particularly the Sangiovese.

Literally, with views of Lake Trasimeno, you would pass this place easily; its outside is like a private house and to stop isn't easy on a winding road. But it's worthwhile when you enter, you know you'll get family cooking at its Umbrian best there is no menu: just a list read to you in Italian, no chance of an English translation..... but never mind (take an Italian speaker with you, or take a risk on something you don't know what you'll eat... either way, it will probably be fantastic! Inexpensive, good local wine will go with it, Stop and try it, if you get the chance

We decided to go for a drive to see the countryside above the Lake where we were staying. All of a sudden we saw this restaurant on a bend in the road. Stopped, went back, and were lucky enough to snare a table as it was about 2PM and everyone seemed to be finishing. It is a family run business and the lady speaks very little English, as I think it is the local and for lucky visitors . In no time we had the most amazing bruschetta , assorted seafood, bread, carafes of wine and more, and of course great coffee to finish . Truly one of the wonderful finds you have when driving in Italy. I would recommend it to anyone. Fresh local produce, simply and beautifully cooked and presented. Grazie Bar... Speisekarte ansehen
