We stopped by during our road trip through the southeast and received a warm welcome. Everyone was very friendly, and the food was excellent.

Excellent range of loose leaf teas and beautifully presented platters followed by home made cake. Not expensive and great service. A treat but at everyday prices. Great find. I will certainly be back.

Vegan caffe, small, but well filled and eating was very well presented and delicious. the best salate that even had a filled carrot and a very tasty sausage roll. would be highly recommended and the host was beautiful and made us feel very welcome.

A friendly, quirky and lovely little cafe. Beautiful food, great range of juices and shakes. Best carrot and orange juice with ginger and tumeric out there! If you are in the area make it a must visit, you won't be disappointed. Will be back for cake and shake very soon.

I had a lovely afternoon celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. They offered an abundance of delicious food and a rich chocolate cake that was fantastic. The selection of their own blended tea was also impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I highly recommend this place!

The brilliant name, Mooplehog was enough to entice us in for brunch en route to Cornwall and we weren 't disappointed. Such a cosy, friendly, quirky little cafe. Rebecca and some of the locals we met were just delightful and the food was scrummy and lovingly prepared. Can 't recommend it highly enough. We 'll definitely popping in next time we 're in the vicinity.

This café is quite small, but the food is fantastic. Just keep in mind that it only has two tables. I tried the Mediterranean tart, which was delicious, especially when paired with the accompanying salad. The baked goods were particularly noteworthy. My partner tried the sausage roll but didn’t find it to his liking; it was a bit messy, but everyone has their own taste preferences. There’s a nice selection of food available for purchase. Next time, I’ll definitely try the dish that looked amazing when I saw someone else enjoying it!

Don't be misled when you're searching for the facade you saw in the photo with the sign reading "Mooplehog." If you come across a quaint little shop called '3 East Street,' you’ve found the right spot! There’s an interesting story behind it. Most importantly, the food is fantastic and absolutely worth trying. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is a lovely lady and a talented cook. In this charming shop, you’ll find plenty of options to buy gifts for birthdays or even a treat for yourself. And make sure to indulge in the Bubble Tea before you leave!

Okehampton was about the last place we expected to find a vegan cafe so we were very excited to discover Mooplehog. After a 15 mile run on the Granite Way we were more than ready for lunch and the only difficulty was narrowing down the choice to just one option. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and plentiful; the owners were friendly and helpful and the surroundings pleasant. Definitely worth a detour off the A30 and the only negative for us is that we are very seldom in this part of the country and it will probably be a one off visit. We may have to move!
