Really great chippy , everything is cooked fresh and not left to dry out in the 'heater bit ' . And the food is not greasy and actually tasty . Bloody expensive! £13.90 for a fish supper. One bit of small haddock. Due to the price of fish they claim. Not sure where they are buying their fish but they are obviously being ripped off, just as they are ripping off their customers. Fish was hard around the edges and batter still raw inside. The food is DELICIOUS The staff are so friendly and outgoing which makes the experience so fun. I HIGHLY recommend for great fish and chips (breaded or battered), but my favourites are the deep fried pizza, and the chicken so so tasty!!!! Definitely stop here, for an overall fantastic foodie experience. I don't have any pictures, because I can never wait to eat it all up. Stopped off on way to Oban for a bite to eat. Ordered a sausage supper before I looked at price....bloody expensive £9.30 (takeaway)for 2 sausages in a soggy batter and some chips. Sausages were quite greasy and to be honest were not that tasty. Chips were half decent but at £9.30 I'd be expecting really high quality. I have to say that FYNE Fish and Chip Shop in Inverary is a joy to behold. Everything is so fresh and the size of the Large fish supper is out of this world. I have to be honest and say that I have been known to leave a quantity of chips on a few occasions due to the size of the portion. Stephen, Michael, Jack and A.J. are always so friendly, and willing to go that extra mile to ensure their customers enjoy their food experience. Please note that the Shop is Cash only, but this is not a problem, as there are 2 ATMs located a short walking distance from the premises.
