"Another delicious meal in London. Well, the myth of bad food in the UK was thrown out again on our third night in London! Another excellent meal was served at Mughals, close to the Paddington station. My husband ran across rave reviews of this place, and he had a good feeling about it rightly so. Since we were unsure what to order, we tried the meal for two, and ordered a bottle of Indian Cab Sauv to complete the meal. Our starters were brought out immediately yogurt mint coriander dressing, salad, ground lamb (seehk kabab? and a fried potato onion ball (onion bahjee? . Everything was delicious, nothing greasy, just crispy and flavorful. My husband even enjoyed the yogurt sauce, which is amazing in itself. The wine complemented all the unusual flavors, too. We waited a while for the rest of the meal... I had to pace myself with the wine so I would have some with dinner. Dinner was huge rice, lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, a spinach lentil dish, and nan. Honestly, I am not sure of the names of all of our dishes but we ate as much as we could! Everything was flavorful spicy, not too spicy that you couldn't taste the food. I would have licked the bowl of the the chicken dish, if I could have gotten away with it it was that good. The service was very good too. My husband isn't a tea drinker, and they easily substituted iced sweet tea for the hot tea... And they were still willing to give him the hot tea at the end of the meal. This is a place we might go back to before leaving London this trip... And would revisit on our next London trip."
