Nabs Head - Speisekarte

Found this pub on way home from a couple of days at seaside. Found it to be warm and friendly with excellent food. Tried to book another visit this week only to be told it's shut. How disappointing when I'd recommended and was going to bring other people

We stopped for lunch on our way to the football game. We received a friendly welcome, the service was quick, and the pub food was delicious. The only downside was that they didn't answer the phone when I called to check if they had availability, so I'm deducting a star for that.

This is the first time we have visited the Nabs Head since it reopened. The Sunday lunch was the best we've ever had in a restaurant or pub, homemade and full of flavour. The chef obviously cares about quality tasty food. Brilliant service too. Many thanks, we will definitely be back! Speisekarte ansehen

As previous frequent visitors to the nabs so happy that's it's returned to be a great little pub with a landlord/landlady who really know how to run a pub and provide great food! Sunday lunch was just brilliant fish and chips and cheese and onion pie were just delicious service spot on with friendly efficient staff.... we will definitely be back!!

I had a wonderful experience revisiting The Nabs Head in Samlesbury. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and served in generous portions, and the ale was top-notch. The cozy atmosphere, complete with a lovely log burner, added to the charm of the establishment. I highly recommend dining here - a definite 5-star experience!

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past six years, both before and after Covid, when it was temporarily located in a tent outside. I was happy to see it reopen and have been back several times since October 23. The food and service have always been top-notch. While the menu may not be as extensive as before, with pizzas and curries now missing, there is still a great selection of classic pub dishes that are expertly prepared. Speisekarte ansehen

Very disappointed!! Following this month’s CAMRA Branch newsletter and all the good reviews on TripAdvisor etc., I went for what I hoped would be a decent pint and a decent meal. Place was deserted with a sign in the window saying “closed till further notice.” No idea if it is open or not and no info on their Facebook page or anywhere else I could find. Used to really like this pub but don’t think I’ll be rushing back till I know for sure it will be open.

This is the first time I have visited this pub; from my first experience, it will be my last. Took my Mum and Dad out for Sunday lunch. We all opted for a roast beef dinner. It was perfectly cooked thick slices of roast beef with homemade Yorkshire pudding and just enough veg. It goes perfectly with their Thwaites Gold ale. I finished the meal off with Chocolate Brownie. What an absolute gem of a pub in a lovely area of Salmesbury. Tentative staff and a reasonable price. Going back again this weekend. Thanks, everyone at the Nabs Head

Our first visit since lindsay took over. We used to come regularly when Michael was here but after closure and the first re opening we have not visited. We came with a friend and our 3 dogs , the lunch menu looked great but we asked if any specials were on. After checking in kiitchen my hunt had sea bass and king prawns. It was beautiful. Hassel back potatoes and the trimmings. I had the chichen supreme with black pudding and medley of veg etc and our friend had chicken bacon ciabbata with fries etc . I can honestly say it was the best pub meal we have had in ages. Thanking you so much . The staff were lovely , helpful and attentive. It was a pleasure to meet lindsay too. We will be back soo...
