We had a beautiful meal the night before our Wedding here. Not only was the food fantastic but the service was outstanding! We would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in great surroundings. Was very quiet, with only us and then later another couple in the restaurant (but that was nice). Service was very good throughout. All the food we had was excellent and prices for food and wine was pretty good for a hotel of this quality. Would recommend it and will be back.

Had dinner at Nathaniels last week and it was excellent. The service was first class and very professional, (thanks Carlos). Sandie commented that her steak was the best she'd ever had. The building and grounds are beautiful, very well maintained and the atmosphere was excellent. Will definitely will be going again.

Recently re opened as a restaurant after being a wedding only venue for several years. Beautiful country house in a lovely rural setting. Staff are very welcoming and looked after us very well. Food was great modern Scottish. Overall feels like a really high end experience, but at prices similar to many St Andrews restaurants.

My partner took me to Craigsanquar for my birthday on 22nd December 2017, when we arrived we were the only people there apart from 3 staff. The food was lovely but there was just no atmosphere in the restaurant, I think I would have prefered it if we had been made aware that we would be the only ones there as I don't think we would have gone. Craigsanquar is a lovely hotel and the staff were very nice so that would be my only complaint.

My friend and I ate from the fixed price menu which had lots of choice and was good value. The waiter along with the receptionist who we spoke to on arrival were lovely. We had a delicious non alcoholic drink which the waiter suggested. The food was good but not wow. As my friend had tried to get a table in the past but the restaurant had always been full we thought the food would be excellent. The decor is a bit faded but the surrounding area is stunning. Perhaps our expectations were just too high.

We have been several times and have always had great food. There is a good selection of food and an extensive wine menu, served in the restaurant within the hotel. The hotel is set in nice grounds, surrounded by the Fife countryside, half way between Cupar and Dundee. From autumn to spring the fire is lit giving a warm friendly feel to the room and there is friendly attentive service at the table. This is somewhere we will keep going to and although I am advertising it, I hope it doesn't get too busy as we won't be able to get a booking!!!

We visited here today for lunch at Nathaniels Restaurant. The food was sourced locally and was absolutely superb. I had Black pudding and Haggis duo for starters and was like a main course on its own. This was followed by beaded haddock and potatoes with salad and home made tarter sauce. I was sorry that I had no room left for the sweet course but did have a cappuccino with home made shortbread. Prices were very reasonable and the service from the staff was second to none could not be faulted. Highly recommend and will certainly be back again.

Outstanding food and service, you are made feel very welcome and at home We booked Saturday lunch at this beautiful country house. The building itself is stunning and you can see it was a previous wedding venue, the finishes are top notch. We were greeted at the door by Carlos who looked after us throughout. He made us all including our children with ASN feel very welcome. The food was delicious. We looked at the menu before booking and whilst it looked delicious to my husband and I our youngsters would prefer plainer food. The day before Carlos rang and arranged what they would like fish and chips, delivered lovely thick battered haddock and hand cut chips! Kids were very happy. I had yummy...
