Netherton Steakhouse

Decided to go here as the restaurant at the hotel we were staying at (Dunston Hall) was dreadful. Great t bone steak and friendly staff.

Awesome example of a great venue for a tasty and great value roast dinner! Chicken was moist, potatoes crispy and veg perfectly cooked! Service great too highly recommend!

With a 20% discount on food on Thursdays, the meals are excellent value as well as being very tasty! The quantities are enormous, starters and mains (we never got to desserts) and they are very happy to box up what is left to take away.

Been visiting this restaurant since it opened through its ups and down of flooding etc. sampled their new autumn menu, absolutely first class, best meal ever, crispy beef wonderful, lamb suet pudding out of this world and not too much, ginger cake excellent. Plus a good draft beer. Chefs and service best ever.

What a great lunch experience we had for my sisters birthday, all 16 of us. The food was great coming out all together and hot, really good quality and plenty of it. Waiting staff were friendly and welcoming and efficient, infact they couldn’t do enough for us, I highly recommend this restaurant … we will be back Speisekarte ansehen

Thank you all at Netherton Steakhouse for all your hard work providing a beautiful buffet after my Mums funeral and making us all feel so welcome. The food was exceptional and plentiful and everyone worked so hard making a hard day special. Also thank you for your recent takeaway Sunday lunches absolutely delicious and enough for two days… a definite winner .

Popped in on the off chance of getting a table and glad we did. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and didn’t seem to worry that it was nearly 8:30pm. The service and food was amazing along with the wine. There was a Great atmosphere too and everyone seemed so friendly. Will definitely be returning to try one of the other variety of steaks on the menu.

First of all they had lost our booking! Speedily remedied by taking us up to a rather soulless room upstairs. The young ladies waiting table were fine, good even. But the more senior lady (supervisor/manager? was unhelpful and rude in the way she answered a food question: “it is what it says on the menu, pork loin”. After a long wait for the standard Sunday Roast the food arrived. We all complained the whole plate was only lukewarm! The roast sirloin was good, a little too well cooked for my taste, but that is personal taste. The little jug of extra gravy a nice touch, good, tasty, if a little coarse, cabbage and excellent roast carrots. But the rest; cold tasteless hard Yorkshire, anonymous... Speisekarte ansehen
