Thay made us so welcome. A friendly place in eat. And lovely food. What Moor do you want. Friendly and good food we came down from Scotland. And can't wait to go back.

Had a chippy tea with our family last night. Everything was lovely. The fish really meaty ...not all batter and massive . It was the best fish that I have eaten for years.

We got a delivery from here- didn't think it was as cheap as some but the quality really made up for it. The little touches were great, for example the breadcakes were some of the best I've ever tasted. A class above your average chippy. Speisekarte ansehen

Always excellent fish and chips. Portions large. By far the best in this end of Sheffield. Owner has high standards both in the hygeine of the serving area and also in her approach with customers. Always giving of her best even when extremely busy.

I think I was the last customer of the decade, as New Cod is currently closed until the New Year. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The fish and chips themselves are excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The fish, chips, and mushy peas at this restaurant are absolutely amazing! It is definitely worth stopping by, even if you are just passing through Sheffield. We come here every week when things are normal. The staff is fantastic and really contribute to the community. They always go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Amazing experience! This is the best fish and chip shop in Sheffield, with perfect food and service always accompanied by a smile. I pass many other fish and chip shops to come here and have never been disappointed. I have always followed this lady who has run several chip shops. The premises are excellent and clean, and during the Covid 19 lockdown, she even delivered to Rustling Road in Ranmoor. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

Look kids, I'm not going to mess about. This place is the nuts. I've been coming here on a weekly basis for the past year, and it has never, not ever, failed to disappoint. I met a local lass on a flight to Germany once. She said that the Upperthorpe Fish Bar was better and after wasting a tenner I can conclusively say she should be taken out and shot at dawn. The batter is crisp, the chips are spiritual, and I never had the mushy peas, but goddamit it I reckon they would cause multiple orgasms if I did. The guys behind the counter are absolutely lovely to chat to, and they work their arses off every day of the year. I cannot recommend this chippy enough. Fast, friendly service, awesome fish...

When we arrived we were waiting outside due to corvid regulations. we thought that's ok, fish and chip shops are quick in's and out's, but not this place. we were outside waiting for 15 mins, then when we finally got served we were told it was cash only (their was no signs stating this) and were told to go to an ATM which luckily for us I drive and could get to one quick. they told us our food would be ready when we return, so we thought no problem. Upon our return food was not ready, but she served us as soon as she realised, but my partner still had to flag her attention as the crowd waiting to be served was getting bigger with students joining the fray. in total we had been there about ha...
