"We stayed in the Clumber Park hotel and reserved to eat on the second night at the Normanton Inn. The reservatino was made for the wrong night which was the start of the issues. We went to eat and were told we would habe to wait 20 mins. We did not get to the table for 40 mins. It took ages to order. When the food came it was delicious."

Only had breakfast after an overnight in the hotel . Would recommend one , buffet style, very tasty.

Really enjoyed the food, arrived in good time, presented well, tasted great and reasonably priced. If I lived closer Id come again!

Food was absolutely delicious and waiter very friendly. We had the burger and chicken tikka masala and there is a good drinks list too.

As part of a supposed 4 star hotel, this restaurant fell well short of expectations. Food was, at best, described as ok, but the ambiance was more akin to a works canteen rather than a restaurant. Drinks arrived part way through the meal. Will not be eating here again.

The food is generally ok and well presented, but not worth the price. We didn't order any alcohol however as it was extortionate. The service was incredibly slow especially considering how quiet the restaurant was, no explanation given. Disappointing all round for what you would expect to be a great place for hospitality

"Would 100% recommend for both takeaway or eating in, though can't beat eating in. The staff are all great, everyone is friendly and very attentive. They are all very welcoming every time we visit and it's very much appreciated. The food is always fresh, authentic and it's certainly the best Indian restaurant in the area. We regularly travel 20mins to Jhinook rather than visiting plenty more local restaurants closer to home. Definitely give it a try if you've not already"

"fantastic hidden gem in the middle of worksop. I've been walking past it for years because it has no front. it's just an arcade on the bridge street. make sure they never go past again, it is amazing with a real Mediterranean feeling and look. eating is amazing and a great selection of drinks. I was so impressed that I booked at the birthday party there. Please promise me that you will never pass again and you will dare through the arc into an amazing other world. really amazing, thank you"

"The staff are very welcoming, we stopped the night it was clean the shower was good aswell but could of done with a bath mat, and had a kettle tea, coffee, milk and sugar for you to have a drink. This is not a criticism but it would of been nice to have a little information in the room such as time you need to check out in the morning and a little about the area. We booked a meal for the evening that was excellent and once again the staff were very professional. Will definitely go there again"

"Absolutely fantastic place to go for a nice meal. The staff were so kind and helpful and the atmosphere was amazing. My Fiancé is Celiac and trying to find somewhere that offers a good selection of food that's Gluten-free is a challenge but The White Lion smashes it out of the park. The portions are perfect and my Fiancé said that her gluten-free food tasted amazing (also hard to come by). Definitely going to visit again and keep going until we try the whole menu. Finally to top it all off the pricing is bang on."

"Absolutely lovely food staff are brilliant. Pub is nice and comfortable. My partner is a fussy eater, the staff cooked him exactly what he wanted even though it was not on the set menu. Brilliant place ! Homemade food too ! I had steak and ale pie and it was amazing with home made steak cut chops too ! 30th April we have just a lovely homemade Sunday lunch at the three legged stool Lovely food ! Lots of beef , lots of mash , we really enjoyed our meals best Sunday dinner I've had in months! Definitely worth a visit ! Fresh homemade food ! You can taste the difference, the staff are lovely too ! Very welcoming and they even remember us from our last few visits"
