"Been for lunch today and although the quiche was delicious and the salad garnish fresh , the fries were a total disappointment. Not had chips or fries here for a while but won’t bother again . They were fatty , dark coloured and overcooked to the point of being almost burnt . You guys should be able to serve better fries than that . We both had the same and both lots of fries were the same . Sorry to mark you down but it wasn’t the best ! Food: 3"

I stopped by for lunch on Sunday and was quite disappointed. We ordered the Sunday roast, and while the meat was delicious, we had to request a Yorkshire pudding. The gravy lacked flavor, and the food was not warm. Speisekarte ansehen

Not sure how the restaurant food is as it closed at 3pm Saturdays didnt get to try it but wow what a beautiful butchery, delicatessen and shop it looks a bit drab from the road and you would never know it's there.. but pull over park up and go see it's like a hidden gem looks as good as Harrods inside.. I've lived locally all my life and this was the first time I've visited.... all that lost time Food: 5

Stunning atmosphere, outstanding menu, and impeccable service. The staff is courteous, friendly, and very accommodating. The deli, butchery, and grocery sections, along with the variety of products available for purchase, all offer excellent quality and value. If you give Oakfield Farm a try, you won’t be disappointed. "Can not recommend enough !!!! Spent an evening at the dining room with some colleagues earlier this week and found the whole experience to be fab!! "It was great food. There was one stocky bald guy who was a really good waiter. He was working his socks off. Then other staff were not so good. Chatting with friends at the bar while our large party needed drinks. A couple of the kitchen staff wandering about with a poor attitude, looking like they didn't want to be there. Should be happy to work there. It's a brilliant pub and they have a nice atmosphere to work in. I have high standards when I go for a meal. It's a rare treat for people. I don't want to see staff acting like they're doing you a favour by being there. On a side note you can see food staff on their phones touching work surfaces when the kitchen doors open. I would say that's quite unhygienic for food preparation. If I see staff using phones etc who prepare food it makes me worry about hygiene. It's like when I went in McDonald's and saw staff constantly touching their face. I've not been back since. Was 5 years ago. I might be wrong they might be cleaning their hands straight after. Just telling you what I saw and how you might be able to do a bit better. Appreciate good staff are in short supply at the moment."

"I had a wonderful celebrity dinner tonight. the restaurant is nice and cozy inside, with tables well spread. there are real white table clothing that feels just that something more special. for each cursor there was a 3-course menu for £34 with about 5 choices. the smoked salmon starter was delicious and I understand that the cheese cake was also very delicious! we had the fish and beef main and both were a good portion size and delicious. dessert was also pleasant. with our coffee, which was a nice note, we got beautiful little brotbiscuits. I received a beautiful birthday card in the restaurant, which was a very beautiful geste! the waitresses were all beautiful and the service was good. we hope to go back to try out their champagne breakfast sometime! would recommend a nice, well-priced meal in a beautiful place."

"Me and my friends all come here ever wednesday after school for a study session and a chit chat and grab a coffee! The atmosphere here is something so peaceful and comfortable with its great lighting, music and decorations really make it a special vibe. It’s very hygienic there’s not a spot of dirt insights- bathrooms are always clean. Aswell as it’s state of cleanliness, the smell is really nice with its light up candles. The staff are so sweet and polite and are amazing at their jobs at making us feel welcome! Aswell as that the food and drinks here on the menu are so good and are always top notch- always nice and fresh! I rate it 5/5 because i’ve been to other places before, that have never had such a good quality food and had a great experience! I come here because it’s a comfort place for me and my friends and we never doubt our choices coming here because it’s so great- one of the best places in Derby."

"Myself and seven friends visited the restaurant on a Friday evening for my birthday. We all a variety of starters, mains and rice and wine. The food was lovely with good portions on all dishes. I had Thai green curry and egg fried rice it did not disappoint. We all had a lovely time. A small and friendly restaurant with great food and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We had pre-ordered our food and the staff were very professional and friendly when servicing to our table. I’ll definitely be returning to try something different. The menu is very extensive and caters for all dietary requirements."
