loves to load this! they have a large and varied selection of environmentally friendly products, and also refilling. nice to see a load like this in a small town!

A small family run café shop. Mostly vegan. We went as a large group for a pre-Christmas lunch. The food was delicious and plenty of it! This is currently the only vegetarian eatery in Torbay.

the shop is nice, good product range, but the caffe is very small and (at least when I went) has a quite small selection of cake. nothing like eating on the other photos here. but the lemon cake and the hot chocolate were nice.

hafer moved to new spaces in fore street in August 2017. it is a nice place with a large selection of products from the shop-coup basics to sweet tasty, care products and cleaning products to organic fruit and veg. also a fridge and freeze cabinet with vegan cheese etc. although it is in first line a health food store, they also have a small cafe area with a few tables for tee good value at £4 for homemade hummus and interesting salads.

large selection of vegan products, from cake to cleaning products! had not noticed any seating in the interior café, but there were places outside. was very tempted by the booja booja ice cream I did not see it anywhere else, but sad would have melted when I came home! bit expensive for some things, but think the prices would be in agreement with other similar shops. friendly dame in service. would definitely visit again for some product types! updated by the previous review on 2022-05-24

Now I'm not sure we went on a bad day/time, but oats were very disillusioning. according to good reviews, my partner and I had high hopes for a good vegan meal. The mini-health grocery store is good, with a decent range of products. The café, however, was practically not existent, with a single glass cabinet that was about five cakes (two of them were vegan; and a limp, boring, day-old salad. The cakes were nothing impressive, and the only employee there seemed incredibly boring and not disturbed by us. (We eat in Curious Kitchen, a short walk away. It is not vegetarian, but has a few marked vegan meals on the menu that proved to be very good.

Shop has a good array of products, including fresh, organic produce, canned goods (including tempeh and braised tofu), bread, chocolate, chilled and frozen items, home care and health products, etc. Cash is best: they charge 50p for using a credit card and 20p for debit card. Vegetarian Caf in the back, including a pleasant outdoor patio: coffees, teas, vegan hot chocolate with vegan marshmallows, cakes and scones, soups all three were vegan and gluten-free when I was there; I had the Mexican bean-tomato, served with organic spelt bread and vegan spread.
