"highly recommended for a stay in this wonderful hotel. stranded in salisbury because of snow and must find a hotel with a walk away from the railway station (no taxis run.) 15 minutes to walk and I was in this hotel. pauline at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite the fact that I arrived after 9.30 a.m., I was quickly booked and my double room was spacious, warm and well equipped with lots of tea making, cookies, tw and care products for the suite. they have always thought of their guests, as there were many cans before or near mirrors and seats/tables. wifi was good and the TV had a good selection of free channels. they even gave earplugs only when the water mill wheel was too loud, but I didn't need them. the bed was super comfortable with a selection of hard or soft kisses. I had a beautiful view over the lake part of the stream and fields. the shower was absolutely beautiful and loved the heated towel rack. the breakfast was amazing. I chose the full English and it was superb with beautiful crispy speck, a building style sausage, black pudding, drilling, tomaten, mushrooms, ei, hash brews and toast. there was also a self-service for chalk, fruit and juice. that was a beautiful end of a terrible day and I am so glad that I found this hidden little jewel."

This restaurant is a lovely spot that offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere by the river, complete with beautiful gardens. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Stayed over night on 27th. Lovely room with all you you would need provided. Friendly, helpful staff and great food in bar and breakfast. Short walk into Salisbury town centre along town path. Can't fault it, lovely place in fab setting. Speisekarte ansehen

I absolutely love this pub! Now that we've moved to Harnham, I'm proud to call it my local. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our grandchildren often have their dinner there, and the food is excellent. The ability to enjoy meals in the fantastic garden and have an outdoor bar makes it the perfect spot to visit with friends. I truly adore this place!

This is a lovely place to stay, but we encountered some issues with the heating system, which we couldn't turn off. A gentleman at the reception did his best to help with the knocking noise and adjust the heat. We ended up sleeping with all the windows open because the room was uncomfortably hot. Unfortunately, the knocking started up again at 3 AM, disrupting our sleep completely. We were disappointed that there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience. On a positive note, the breakfast was delightful.
