Had a great day great service at this Carvery the other day, desserts looked and tasted fantastic . Drinks excellent nice clean pint well maintained

We had three carverys our grandson had a Burger all spot on we had a fish and chip shop for 17 years so we know when food is spot on will go again EXCELLENT 10 OUT OF 10

the bar person (female) was so beautiful that we had to wait when they had a birthday party and the carvery wd were refreshed. so helpful nice advice .so courteous. pub was empty, but they were so patient and waited until we were ready...go. eating was good. we went at 9.30 a.m., but very happy to be a weekday. Girls were kind. Thank you. a few times in past, but not as special

I eat here very regularly and this review focusses on the breakfast buffet. The price is excellent and the quality is good. What makes it for me is the quality of the staff, led by Cory, who always goes out of his way to be...welcoming and focussed. He is a credit to the restaurant/pub. There is ample parking and the restaurant is located on the main road between Accrington and Blackburn. As it is outside the town centre there is ample parking.

I love having breakfast at this restaurant and make it a point to visit at least once a month. The staff is always friendly and the food, particularly the bacon and sausages, is of high quality and delicious. I often wonder how they manage to make a profit with such generous portions. The only downside is the toaster, which is a bit old and requires multiple passes to toast the bread properly, leading to delays. Despite this issue, it remains a fantastic place to dine. I took my family to the carvery at the Old Mother Redcap. My wife, son, and grandchild enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when selecting which items to choose from the carousel. I requested beef only, but was surprised to receive a very small slice of beef instead of the three slices I expected. Additionally, I paid for an extra portion of pork but did not receive it, even after showing my receipt. I should have clarified with the server, but I felt a bit cheated after expecting three slices of beef and not receiving them.

I asked the chef if there were any tomatoes in the dish on the buffet, as there were none. He shouted at me, saying he had only just put some out 3 minutes ago and it wasn't his fault there were none left. He then threw fried eggs down, splashing hot oil on my clothes, without apologizing. He stormed off before I could say anything. When I complained, I was accused of lying, even though another customer witnessed the incident and called the chef disgusting. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise others to be wary of the chef if you request anything from him.

we went to redcap with our two grandchildren. one of them had a burger, the other a pizza. They were very nice, but the price was a little steep. my man and I had the carvery. that was very nice. I've only. for the turkey warned and the girl gave me the rest of the truthahn. if I had all that meat, I would have three slices. After she complained, she got a new truth and gave me a decent one. the same happened to my man. the other employees were very nice, but there was a chaotic atmosphere. they said there were 45 minutes waiting for food and there was only one handful of people in!. it is a shame because it could be very good with a little organization when eating was good.
