Olive Bean - Speisekarte

We always dine here whenever we visit Newcastle, and as usual, the food and service are both first class.

This coffee shop is pretty adorable and have a few vegan options. They have a full vegan breakfast I wasn't able to find online and sandwiches too

Really limited vegan options, just hummus and veg sandwiches etc, which is annoying considering they’re called olive and bean. usually have a vegan soup of the day which is nice. Speisekarte ansehen

I recently visited and was very impressed. I particularly enjoyed the menu, especially the Greek dishes! The beautiful, chic, and stylish atmosphere sets it apart, along with their excellent customer service.

We discovered a great spot with a wide variety of gluten-free options, including sandwiches and paninis. The sandwiches are decent—I'd give them a solid 3 out of 5. However, you definitely get what you pay for! They also have a large selection of vegetarian dishes, and we highly recommend trying the Greek mezze platter.

I visited just before Christmas and ordered a Americano that was excellent and a honeycomb tiffin and chocolate biscoff tiffin to takeaway. Well it was nearly Xmas after all! Although a little pricey, the two tiffins were deliciously moreish. Staff were also very welcoming and there was a nice atmosphere inside. I would definitely return again. Speisekarte ansehen

I think the photos say everything, but incredible! the coffee was excellent. latte art, even if they were busy. I love eating all of it! my only criticism is that the sitting area was cold in the upper floor, as it was at very cold, I had to go earlier when I liked it because I was so cold. but if they bring a pullover, they can't really go wrong

Apart from the drinks, olive and bean didnt really have much for me to eat… I came at a lunch time and the menu had barely any vegan options, everything seemed to have meat in it. When i asked what is there that is vegan exactly no one could answer me… ended up asking for a bagel with avocado and chilli jam (each was £2 to add) and the bagel wasn’t even toastedmaybe the breakfast menu is better?

Got the sausage and mushroom ciabatta with sliced avocado on the side. I expected a lot more inside but it was literally just the bread with 2 sausages and 2 mushrooms. Maybe should’ve expected less but it was very bland and dry. I kind of panic-bought it as there weren’t many vegan options at all. Probably wouldn’t go back, the whole thing cost £8.95 and it was definitely not worth that. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-29 Speisekarte ansehen
