"Pictures kind of say it all. Ordered meal for two. One cant stand cucumber but other has reflux issues with cucumber and tomato so both avoid both in meals (read vomiting, all night stomach cramps and generally feeling rubbish for 24hours). We believe instructions were clear but feel free to disagree. Meal delivered with cucumber and tomato on both. Called takeaway to resolve and got through after 15mins to be offered a part credit which we declined. It was either full credit or replacement of the kebabs. Driver came 30mins later with replacement. Asked for the first kebabs back (which were in bin by that point) however given to him. Wings and chips ok but too tired to eat the kebabs as had eaten rest whilst it was hot given partial order replacement only. Meal tomorrow sorted is a bonus mind.... we think."

This food has to be hands down the worst food I have ever tasted. Wraps tasted like stale wood. Bushtucker trial to say the least. Best thing about it was being able to burn it in a fire. Do not order. This place should be shut down

Really good food from here but the orders are wrong most time when ordering a delivery. Delivery person is great. Maybe he should answer the phones instead then our orders will be right upon delivery. Food is great but service could be better.

I’ve ordered from here several times and it’s always good service and great food. I order the Garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms, which is really delicious and spaghetti and meatballs, which is delicious too. And there’s just enough so that you don’t get over bloated.

Ordered a takeaway with a can of vinto. The can of vinto wasn't delivered and they said it was. I asked them about it and they demanded it was delivered. Who ever ordered food from here. Please check your order before the delivery driver drives off. Poor customer service. I will not be ordering from this takeaway again.

Great kebab and good, friendly service When u got home though to enjoy my meal, there was no pitta bread etc, just a tray of donner. It seems looking at the website that this is a dish in itself. That, therefore, is the reason I can't do 5 stars however it's a good venue, it appears clean and I look forward to trying it again

No matter what we've ordered, be it pizza , kebab , chicken or omelette,the food from l'amour is always spot on. Been using this place for around 4 years and can't recommend it highly enough. We are fussy over our food and have tried plenty of other places before we found l'amour. Never had a problem with orders and food is always on time and hot. Sat waiting for a full house kebab right now in fact. Very highly recommended.

Forgive me, but I’m American... who is used to a certain type of pizza. One that has great flavour, healthy amount of toppings, and is baked to a point where the cheese is caramalized. It took me almost a year, but I found my pizza joint. To achieve what I am looking for, I order Calzone, from this menu. Whilst it may not be a calzone from what I know, it is certainly the best pizza I’ve had since I landed here in the UK. Now that I’m a full time St. Helens resident, this is the ONLY pizza joint I purchase from — I say this from experience. Wonderful service, excellent kebabs, burgers and chicken as well.
