Olney Pancake Parlour

Waited over half an hour for a COLD pancake with a £9.00 price tag ! Asked for a replacement, staff said we would need to wait another half an hour ! This place is an over priced joke .

Not a fan of pancakes so I went for the Caesar salad with chicken and added halloumi cause I was feeling rather peckish. Also had a cortado and peach iced tea. It was all delicious! Great service too, will definitely go back. Especially when they have the banoffee tarts in

This is a lovely well located cafe in the centre of the town. The food which takes a while to come because it is fresh cooked always tastes really good. The American pancakes that they serve are really good. If you are visiting Olney or driving through give this place a visit. Speisekarte ansehen

This restaurant bills itself as a pancake parlour, but the selection of pancakes is quite limited, especially for those who don't like chocolate. The pancakes we tried were just okay, with a crispy exterior and a small size for the price. It's a cute cafe, but I wouldn't necessarily consider it a true pancake parlour.

I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while and was eager to try the food again. However, it was evident that the service was still very slow as I waited for my food for half an hour with no sign of it arriving. I had to inquire about my order and it had clearly been forgotten as it arrived stone cold. I was very disappointed with the quality of the salad and found everything to be overpriced. Overall, it was a total waste of money and time.

Visited the pancake parlour today with my young nephew and niece. I’m never one to write a review but I feel like this place deserves all the good reviews. From the moment walking in we was greeted by a lovely man who quickly sat us down in a space big enough for the pram and a high chair. We then ordered and got settled in and all the staff were amazing at going above and beyond for the children, colouring books and pens, extra plate for my nephew to share with me and generally being very welcoming. The food was very nice and was quickly served along with the drinks. Well done to all working and the owners. A lovely little shop with brilliant service. Will defo be coming back!! Went in with my partner and we waited almost 1 hour for pancakes? 1 hour! I’m not sure why it took so long to have a simple pancake made and when it came out it was expensive for what it was! Just was not worth it. Further more staff were more busy talking about nights out they have had or nights out they are planning to have than actually looking after customers who are waiting for their food. Poor service all round, crammed in and not great food. Not sure why they seat more people than they can serve and furthermore priorities should be set right as talking about personal nights out rather than looking after customers should never happen. Visited with a friend and 3 kids ages 3-5. Waitress was incredibly rude when I arrived. I went in to look for a seat and she came behind me berating me for doing so. I understand some establishments ask you to wait to be seated, however, there is a way to speak to people (also a sign could help, though I didn 't see one)...I felt like I was being told off and I think she could see the reaction on my face in being spoken to in such a way mumbled well I did try to tell you but you walked on . Genuinely if I hadn 't been meeting a friend, I would have walked out there then. My friend ordered plain crepes with lemon sugar for her kids, aged 3 5 (both tiny)...rather than letting us know there are...

We arrived, family of 3, we were seated swiftly by a very pleasant gentleman and then it all went downhill. Waited at least 20 minutes for our order to be taken, gave up and went to the desk to order only to be greeted by a waitress saying “I will be over to take your order in a few minutes”. Shocked that she wouldn’t take my order at the desk I went and sat back down. We would have left if it was not for the fact we had promised our daughter pancakes as a last treat before school. The waitress finally came over, saw another table waiting for their order to be taken and said ‘I’m not sure who was first?’, thankfully the other table kindly said it was us, so she took our order first not that...
