Oriental Chef Chinese Takeaway

I've been using this Chinese Takeaway since I moved here 25 years ago.

Pretty good food though orders can turn up wrong and food can be a little cold at times

I’m not one to leave reviews. Order from this Chinese on Saturday evening. Been in Thanet 6 months and this is by far the best we’ve had. Great food and decent prices. Came hot. Delivery guy was nice. 10/10

Mains- Very poor processed food deep fried and shipped out. Suspect it is 95% processed. How can a Chinese take out be this bad? Most on the bin. Photo showing chicken ball batter, ridiculous. How are these even operating.

DO NOT ORDER!!!!!! Food was awful, cold and disgusting. All thrown in the bin after one bite because it wasn't even edible. Missing items. Drove there and staff were rude, looked dirty and had no idea how to speak to another person with any manners. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!! Speisekarte ansehen

Was staying in town and remembered Oriental Chef from years ago and it being nice so ordered. Honestly worst vegerable curry iv ever had. Watery and no flavour. Orderdd a mushroom chow mein which was full of grease lacked flavour and prawn balls had black in them and full of grease. Really horrible. Woke up with a bad belly from the small amount i ate. Never order again from here again. Save your money and go else where.

JUST EAT ORDERERS BEWARE! When ordering from Just Eat. We placed an order with these guys as they had the shortest wait time. As soon as we actually placed the order, the time suddenly shot up. After an hour and a half, we phoned the restaurant. They told us it would be another 25 30 minutes. We then asked them to cancel the order after effectively deceiving us with wait times and we’d get our money back. Cut a long story short, this restaurant never cancelled the order and had the cheek after all this to mark the order as delivered. We’re now in a dispute. An absolute con of a restaurant avoid.

Really disappointed Used to used this place all the time and it was so good. Today was bad. Arrived to collect my order to hear them all shouting at each other in the kitchen. Someone came out snd didn’t say hello, just looked at me til I said I was collecting an order. Thrust said order at me along with credit card machine and said ‘29.90£’ Service was non existent but food wasn’t great either. Greasy batter. Pretty much empty spring rolls. Just really underwhelming. I can forgive food not being as good as previously as we all have off days. But the total lack of giving a s#!t by staff us not acceptable. Speisekarte ansehen
