Very nice restaurant with great food. The shared platter of entries is delicious- mozzarella, fried vegetables and ham. I recommend the vegetarian lasagne. Family friendly and fairly priced.

Location bella, sia all'esterno che all'interno. Il menu è ricco di specialità laziali e siciliane, contiene un'ampia scelta di tipologie di carni da gustare alla brace ed una buona carta dei vini. Peccato per l'attesa, dal momento che una volta seduti al tavolo, sono passati ben trentacinque minuti per la comanda. Decisamente troppi.

Went for lunch today, had three courses and they were all very good quality and very reasonably priced. Service was outstanding!! Been in Italy a week now and eaten in a lot of restaurants, today was definitely my best experience and this is comparing it to some other top restaurants. I highly recommend anyone to go and eat here. Enrique (London)

molto piacevole locale sia per la posizione, al di fuori del paese, e per l'atmosfera, sia all'aperto che al chiuso. menù molto invitante, ricco e vario con piatti molto speciali che si riferiscono alla cucina laziale e siciliana. porzioni molto abbondanti, metà del secondo e un contorno li ha portati via. tutti i piatti deliziosi e gustosi. non prezzi davvero economici ma in linea con la quantità e la qualità offerti. raccomandato. Se torno qui, sarei felice di tornare al basiliò per provare altri piatti. servizio puntuale e preciso, ma la signora che sembrava responsabile del club, dovrebbe sorridere un po' di più.

Osteria Basilico is popular with Italians, but doesn;t attract many foreigners. It is a little off the beaten track, not near any major tourist attractions. We were tipped by our host that this is an excellent restaurant, and he was right. There is an osteria downstairs, and a michelin star restaurant upstairs. This explains the extensive wine list/book. The wine cellar, kitchen and staff are shared. We had a shared starter and our main course were fish and a meat dish called tagliata di manzo, sliced beef steak with rucola and parmesan cheese. Both were dilicious, of excellent quality and nicely presented, We had a nice botle of local wine with it and the service was excellent. A great meal...

We happened to be staying opposite this delightful restaurant and I must admit initially we just popped over the road for a quick snack at lunchtime. My son was getting married the following day and we were trying to think how we could logically find somewhere to eat (18 of us) that evening. We had the calzone as a lunchtime snack which was perfect. It was slightly crisp on the outside and the centre was warm and cooked to perfection. No dryness and full of taste. We decided to ask the waitress if it would be possible for use to book that evening. She explained that her English was not good but that she would contact the owner. The owner (sorry I have forgotten her name) spoke perfect Englis...
