"My partner and I decided to try Osteria del Cavolo attracted by the positive reviews. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is typically tavern-like but the prices on the menu surprised us as they were high and not exactly tavern-like, especially for some courses. We started with an asparagus and thyme flan and some stuffed and fried courgette flowers, but we found the price of €16.50 for three courgette flowers excessive. Subsequently we tasted bigoli with white ragù and summer truffle sauce and Ligurian trofie in cherry tomato sauce, swordfish and scampi, both delicious dishes, especially the bigoli thanks to the strong flavor of the truffle. The service was fast, perhaps too fast, since we couldn't fully enjoy the dishes without the waiters quickly taking them away, even the bread. Despite the high prices and somewhat rushed service, the overall experience was positive, although not entirely in line with the expectations of a traditional tavern."
