Mangiato benissimo ed a prezzi economici visti i tempi I due camerieri giovani erano cortesi e volenterosi Il cameriere più anziano troppo sbrigativo e freddo Se vuoi vendere devi essere più accogliente e parlare dei vostri piatti ,che meritano davvero....

buona cucina palermitana anche per i locali, questo dice tutto. rapporto qualità prezzo unico. gentilezza e disponibilità del personale altra nota positiva. Non è un luogo formale così chiaramente il servizio non è tale, anche se più che all'altezza delle aspettative. Ti consiglio di andare.

We have arrived in Palermo and Osteria Sciapo was our choice for the evening. I love the small local restaurants where you can find the real italian food . Osteria Sciapo offered us what you expect from a Italian restaurant. The great food, the wine and the joy of eating. Add to that the joyful noise from around and the evening is complete.

Very ordinary food, some dishes bordering on poor. The vegan in our group was very disappointed with the alternatives provided (much behind everyone else). Wine prices were reasonable for what was on offer. At the end the wait staff were very quick at taking everything away, giving the impression that they wanted our party out of there. Won't be going back.

Oggi abbiamo festeggiato il sessantesimo compleanno di mio fratello a pranzo. siamo davvero felici e felici. abbiamo mangiato bene, piatti preparati con cura e prodotti di qualità. congratulazioni a tutto il personale, al proprietario Signora Filippa e consort, ai ragazzi, uno per tutti mario, che ci ha servito con gentilezza, professionalità e grazia. puntuale e molto scrupoloso siamo stati seguiti per tutta la durata del pranzo. ottima cucina siciliana, lo consigliamo sicuramente. We came tonight for dinner and it was wonderful! The restaurant is nicely decorated and very cozy, the staff is friendly and polite, and the food is amazing. We had antipasto siciliano and caponata as appetizers, then we had the anelletti Al forno, pasta con le sarde, pasta col nero di seppia, and octopus. At the end we shared torta sette veli al cioccolato (to die for and a slice of cassata. Everything was delicious and we all loved the overall experience! Too bad we are just visiting Palermo, because we'd come back in a heartbeat to try more of their dishes. Good job Sciapó

Not everything that glitters is gold. Cannot be more true for this resturant. It has a perfect setting to make it happen but suffers from a core issue of attention to detail. The food cannot compensate for the classy vibe of the place. We got 2 pastas. One with anchovies and sardines and other with aubergine and swordfish. The former was okish after we loaded it up with salt. They served it completely bland. Then one with swordfish took our dinner to a sad place. Firstly there was no swordfish. When I say none, I mean one small piece arouns 5 mm cube worth. Secondly again no seasoning. The only good thing about the dinner was the house wine. Pretty solid.
