Excellent restaurant, opulent surroundings, refined food. Rather expensive (especially the drinks) but no complaints. Wonderful experience!

The food was excellent, and creative. However, the service left some to be desired and was unusually slow, it seems the staff was struggling with too many tables at the small restuarant or perhaps this is the norm here. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged to be seated when there was no one else waiting, 15 minutes for water, and over 20 minutes for dessert and coffee, which I had to ask again for. We stayed in Venice for a few days, this hotel was recommended to us by a dear late friend and what a fabulous suggestion. We really enjoyed our stay hear.The hotel was amazing. All staff was really amenable and couldn’t do enough. It made our stay in Venice, even more magical. The city is beautiful and really romantic. We are planning our next return this year. This hotel is a short walk from everything. Food and dining sublime out of this world.

I was really disappointed to turn up and find out you don’t have your meal in the pretty garden room as pictures show! Instead u get seated in a different area which lacked atmosphere and to be honest was plain and basic. The food was nice but isn’t worth the money! Was quite upsetting when the main reason for booking was for the extravagant setting and experience. Let down. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere!!

On our last night in Venice we planned a high end meal in what was advertised on trip advisor as a top high end restaurant in Venice. This was not the case. To start the salmon tartare was extremely poor, unseasoned and slimy. The fact the staff served the meal with salt and pepper was placed on the table with the course and taken away after the course shows they know how bland and under seasoned the dish is. The following course of Veal cutlets was even more disappointing. Paper thin veal with huge amounts of potatoes and a lemon for 35 euro is disgraceful.
