Had a lovely meal with a friend. The staff were very polite, the service was good. The food was hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place if you like fish.

went to go to get a drink and the shop was closed half an hour early! Terrible service !!! very unprofessional, I only wanted a can of coke and there was a boy cleaning up at half 8 when the sign says it closes at 9!!

We went here for dinner on a Thursday night. Great portions of Cod and Haddock, Chips and Mushy Peas. The restaurant was about half full. Good service from the friendly waitress. Still the best fish chips restaurant in the area. Speisekarte ansehen

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years. Although it has always been expensive, the food was always top-notch. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The large battered cod I ordered was smaller than what I have received at other places, and their small cod was more like a large fish finger. Additionally, their curry sauce came in a smaller portion and was very runny. For the price of over £25, this was a complete rip-off. I will not be returning as the quality and portion sizes have clearly gone downhill. Goodbye to this greedy establishment.

I went to Papa’s restaurant tonight for dinner with my young daughter who has many allergies. The tomato sauce was served in a pot with no label. When I asked to see the ingredients due to my daughter's allergies, the waitress initially said I couldn't see it as per the manager's instruction. After insisting, I was eventually shown the list, confirming my daughter couldn't have it. I also requested non-dairy milk for my coffee but was told they didn't offer any dairy-free options. My daughter was disappointed to learn they didn't have vegan ice cream for dessert either. Despite the nice food, pleasant ambiance, and friendly staff, I recommend finding another restaurant if you have allergies.

First visit for a while so we were unsure if it was still a good restaurant, however we were pleasantly surprised. My wife and sister had the Rock Chips, first impression was that it was cooked perfectly and contained plenty of fish. I went for the Cod Chips and I was mighty impressed, again perfectly cooked with nice white flakes of cod. The chips were hot and crispy and it was the best fish n chips I have had for a very long time. To put that into perspective we are foodies and have dined in many Michelin restaurants up to 3 star (I'm not comparing just saying I know good food).
