"Paul's is a cafe that serves coffee that is just to my liking - strong, perfectly frothed milk, and not overly bitter or roasted. Maybe I should stick to French coffee instead of Italian? What I appreciate about Paul's in general is that their cafes are always clean, with well-spaced tables so you can have a private conversation. They also have outdoor seating, which is a plus. This particular location checked all the boxes for me. The staff was friendly, offering to heat up my ham and cheese croissant without me even having to ask (unlike some other places that make you feel like you're asking for the moon when you request your sandwich to be warmed up). The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, catering to their laptop-toting clientele. If only this place were closer to my home, I would be a regular customer. Oh, and they also make fantastic picnic hams. I remember ordering one last summer and I think I'll make a return visit soon now that the weather is nice."

I adore their sandwiches and all of their baked goods are delicious. The coffee is also great, especially when enjoyed with a croissant. I frequently get my brunch or lunch from this restaurant and it never disappoints.

Beautiful patisserie taste delicious. I took a detour on the tube and bought a whole craquant cake yesterday. It was well worth it, gorgeous mirror glaze, perfect layers and satisfying textures. I’d post a photo but we ate it

Quick and satisfying stop for a bite to eat. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, pastries, and coffee which are all delicious. Highlights include the cheese croissants and veggie sandwiches. The seating area is outdoors and conveniently located in the heart of the city. The service is also excellent. Speisekarte ansehen

a cheap location, tee and coffee with a bit quick to eat. the service here was always friendly and efficient for me, so no complaining there. it is spacious so we have always managed to find a table for 2. I really enjoy their chai latte and sandwiches. I had a better mandel croissant elsewhere than paul, so next time I would go for the simple croissant.

I came in to enjoy a cup of coffee this morning and soy flat white was not right. Firstly, the place wasn’t busy but they didn’t get the order right and prepared it as a takeaway instead. Later the drink was remade for me as the concentration flavour were not ok but no improvement was observed and in fact all was done with pretty unpleasant manner leaving no other choice but not to return here again.

Visited on the day of the transport strike so not too busy. Has a reasonably sized interior and was air conditioned well. There were enough staff and the 'lab coat ' ' manager seemed to be on shift. The interior looked clean and well organised with a full range on display. The only thing of note was that my party sat outside. We had to ask for the table we used to be cleaned and noticed that the outside tables were slow to be cleared. Speisekarte ansehen

Paul is a French café with a lovely terrace that serves a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, quiches, and salads. Customers have the option to dine in or take their food to go. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they play French music in the background, adding to the authentic feel of the place. The furniture is elegant, making it a fancier café compared to others. Their pastries are made in the traditional French style, fresh and beautiful. They also offer homemade bread, although I have not tried it yet, it looks delicious. If you are a fan of baguettes and haven't found a good place in London, Paul could be your next stop!

I bought cakes (including birthday cakes for me, my wife, my son... from Paul online regularly. I am a French man living in London.Today at 10am, walked into that Paul bakery on Baker street to buy a poppy seed baguette. And guess what? They dare sell me a frozen baguette from the day before. They should be ashamed of themselves. I will never buy anything from Paul ever again. I know it was frozen: it is as hard as a brick. I am french, I know what a frozen baguette is. Outrageous, morally wrong for a bakery to sell frozen baguettes without even telling their customers. They have zero integrity, They have lost my custom forever.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
