Booked a table via their website and was contacted 15min prior to arrival by a very rude man saying they were fully booked . Won't be rebooting and judging by the recent reviews we look to have dodged one

Last minute decision to get some food...ordered at the premises and so thought it would be freshly cooked. Food was average at best (that's a compliment! . Considering the choice within Edinburgh I won't be going back. Just wish I'd read the reviews first...!

I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel it is important to inform others about this restaurant. The cleanliness is questionable, the service is rushed and unfriendly, and the food was a major disappointment. We barely ate our dishes and left with a vow to never return. That's all I have to say.

Review is of takeaway service, if can call it that! 2.5hs to deliver 10- 15 mins along road and when placed within 30 mins of opening. Was cold when arrived. Tried to call multiple times but no answer or it just cut off. I understand things can go wrong in an operation but to close any line of communication is not good customer service.

In my experience ordering from this restaurant three times, the delivery has been consistently over an hour late. Despite multiple attempts to call, the phone always cuts off after 2 seconds. When the food eventually arrived, it was lukewarm at best and unappetizing in appearance. There are many other dining options available at restaurants that show more concern for their customers.

Oh dear what on earth has happened to this once good takeaway/restaurant? We used to make a point of stopping here for a meal when through to see a show or meeting friends in Edinburgh. Received a takeaway tonight, my partner mentioned the owner was ‘grumpy’. An hour drive back to Anstruther and part of the meal was missing, but charged for. The curry was certainly not what a curry should look or taste like. Oily, very bland inedible. Such a waste! What has happened I ask again?? Two loyal customers lost, I certainly won’t be back unless they take a long hard look at the quality of their food.

Ordered a take away for delivery for the first time and it will be the last time. It arrived 40 minutes late so it was cold. The soup was okay once heated up but the main courses were awful. Chips looked like they had been reheated several times and were floppy and chewy. Disgusting. There was absolutely no taste to the meat courses and frankly I have never grudged paying for a meal so much as I did this time. I phoned the restaurant when the meal was just over 20 minutes late and they didn 't care that it hadn 't arrived. Oddly enough arrived 20 minutes later but goodness knows how long it had been on the road . Too many good places in Edinburgh to use this place again....

Only after placing an order, I found out that waiting time is 90min. Fine! Called after 90 min as no delivery. Found out that the order is on its way. Fine. Called after 120 min from placing an order to find out that... actually my online order has not been received... was told it would take another 30 min to make and deliver the order.... and was offered 50% for the next order. Refund wasn 'tan option as 'your order is being prepared '... 2.5h of waiting time for food delivery for the guests is not acceptable, 50% of next order isn 't either.... We turned up at the restaurant as a family of 11 for dinner at 5:30, as that was the booking time to be told they had only just opened! We waited 30 minutes to be asked for a drink, even though my son had asked to order! When we did start to order drinks and food it was chaotic to say the least! They simply seem more interested in take away orders than table service, which was so so poor! To the extent the girl serving actually rolled her eyes at us!!!
