Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, personale cordiale e gentili in particolare Tina e Cristian molto simpatici!!

Ottima pizza, personale molto disponibile e tempi d’attesa ragionevoli nonostante la tipica movida del mese di agosto.

Locale pieno e quindi attraente. Abbiamo ordinato 3 pizze. All'aspetto erano invitanti ma nella pratica erano un po' insipide, la salsa molto forte e un po' salata, e stranamente troppo corta (a tratti bruciata) da un lato e quasi cruda dall'altro. Nel compenso le materie prime erano fresche e saporite e il personale cordiale.

La Duchesa was fantastic. It looks like it has undergone a revamp from previous reviews. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the ambience and aesthetics are great and the food and wine were spectacular! We had bruschette and caprese for starters it was fresh and very tasty! The fish and chips recommended by the staff was just delicious the cod just melted in your mouth. Finally the tiramisu was also top notch! Highly recommended! Speisekarte ansehen

We went there yesterday again after finding this gem only a week ago. We live in Otranto and have been to a lot of restaurants. La Duchesca is among the best restaurants in town. Food, drinks, service and location, everything is just perfect. Disregard the overall rating of this place since they only opened in summer this year and the bad ratings still refer to the previous restaurant. This is one of the restaurants you have to try when you are in Otranto.

il posto si trova in una bella posizione, di fronte al castello. Abbiamo ordinato sia pizze e carne, diciamo che ha mangiato abbastanza bene; la griglia mista era in media, per quanto riguarda la pizza era leggermente insipidato, non è meglio che assaggiato ma non è nemmeno male. per quanto riguarda i prezzi sono normali per essere otranto, una pizza con la burrata 8€. il proprietario è gentile, peccato che il resto dei dipendenti o è inesperto o un po' arrogante. Ti consiglio di non avere grandi affermazioni.

This is one of the first places you’ll see when entering Otranto’s town centre through the fortress. This means they get a constant stream of patrons so don’t expect a great customer service (looong waiting times) though the staff seem to try their best but they know they’ll fill all the tables regardless. Food is OK (not great though) we had scamorza, caponatina, orecchiette and risotto but WAY overpriced. Good thing is that they always seem to be able to accommodate you (might ask to come back in 20’ for a table but at least you’ll sit and eat). We had prams and kids so a good overall solution to park up and fill up but if without kids there seems to be much better places nearby to explore... Speisekarte ansehen
