"We have not eaten The Colwall Park Hotel for some time so on Bank Holiday Monday we decided to have dinner out . As we have not eaten here for a long time read positive reviews also the à la carte menu did look very good on there Web Site, we decide to book a table for two. On entering the Bar we noticed it had been re decorated new carpets tables New bar etc i must say it looked very nice. We sat down ordered a wine, a pint of Wye Valley which i must say was well kept tasted great, as was the Malbec . After mulling over the menu for both the bar Restaurant we decided to go for the Bar Menu.(Only because they had stopped doing the Turbot changed to the Brill) hopefully the Turbot will be back in the future!! as its a lovely fish one of my favorites. Any way we both went for the Crispy fried Fish with Peas Chips salad. The waiting staff were very polite nothing was to much trouble. The meals arrived piping hot The fish was a good size tasted fresh it looked fresh as was the salad garnish really nice .The chips were very good nice crispy (Not greasy soft) and tasted really nice it came with a pot of peas Tartar Sauce. I think if the peas were mushy or even crushed it would have been faultless. Both meals were very good offering good value for money with great service, it will not be as long as before when we next return. Thanks for a nice evening"

"Went to watch Nigel Kennedy at Malvern theatre, so we stayed overnight at the Swan. It is a beautiful, historic place in a small village. We got there early, but that proved no problem as the staff told us we would be able to access the room straight away. The pub has everything you need, great ales and lagers, plus some very good food. We tried a fillet steak and cod, and they were very good. The bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed and a comfortable bed. Overall I recommend anyone to have a stay at this place, the only fault I can point out would be, they did tell us before we left to the concert that the bar would be open until 10.30, we did rush back and managed to get there for 10.25 unfortunately they'd shut, I can only presume that they'd got no customers after all it was 7th November. But definitely worth a stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"This pub is quite a find. It is situated at the foot of the Malverns and has lovely views over Herefordshire countryside, which can be enjoyed from the garden and outside tables. There's an extensive menu with lots of daily specials, that takes it well beyond pub classics to some interesting tastes. Everything is well cooked and well presented, and portions are not small so it's ideal after a day tramping the hills. The beer is good, there are some interesting and good value wines, and the landlord is very welcoming just a shame it's not our local!"

"Completely Faultless birthday celebration from the minute we walked in the door to the minute we walked out. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time with great food, a brilliant atmosphere and wonderful staff. There was a large selection of drinks available but we went safe with a lovely bottle of red and started with soufflé and belly pork. After these the standard just rose, expertly cooked duck and steak for main was followed by sorbet and sticky toffee and all was topped off with some more drinks, including a new found love in my life…………..Bumbu rum !! The staff were very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful throughout the evening, nothing was too much trouble. As we got the got the bill we were asked by the waiter about our reason for the visit, we explained it was for my girlfriend’s birthday to which he returned a few minutes later we a small cake and candle, completely unprompted or planned but made us both smile and it was a small gesture that made a huge impression and rounded off a great evening perfectly. Thank you to all the staff at the Inn for a magical evening and we’ll definitely be back soon."

"We recently visited the restaurant for their "Curry Night" for the third time. Amit recently took over the pub just six weeks ago, and he has already made a significant impact. The Indian cuisine is top-notch, and it was a great decision to implement this theme night. We wish him luck with his other planned changes."
