Very popular with the locals and even the police pop in for a long, slow lunch or dinner. The wines are local and excellent organic quality. Traditional Sicilian food, served with care and loving attention to detail.

Great evening with awesome food! Family owned restaurant which holds the same name as the hotel but is far from standard hotel food. We ate dinner here towards the end of October on a Friday night and it was busy without being crowded or rushed. The first course, with a variety of appetizers, was amazing, and the second with fire grilled pork steak was really good too. We enjoyed the ambiance, the waiters were friendly and attentive without being pushy, the house wine was good and the green grapes which came with a beautiful fruit bowl for dessert were the best I have ever eaten. We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant.

I've been to Pomara twice and on both occasions it delivered quality food in generous quantities at extremely reasonable prices. The food was typically Sicilian, rustic but simple and prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. In winter the highlight of Pomara is certainly the wood-burning oven in the middle of the dining area where patrons can watch their meats cook. During the warmer months, dining on the terrace allows for a better dining experience. Pomara will not the most refined restaurant you will eat at but it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

We were staying the night in Hotel Pomara for a wedding and came here for dinner. We can quite confidently say that this has been the best meal of the whole holiday! And so unexpected! We arrived to the area late yet they welcomed us with open arms. They gave us an aperitif, a delicious plate of bruschetta and fruit for free. And the lamb was out of this world! The chef cooked a large and fresh piece of lamb on the open fire and it tasted beautiful! The lamb was perfectly cooked and the portions were so generous. We would really recommend a visit to this place! Beautiful surprise to our trip and we will be coming back. Speisekarte ansehen
