"Great fish, quite like the batter and we'll presented in sturdy cardboard boxes instead of environment harming styrofoam containers! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even it's adverted as takeaway there is a couple of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the nice food. The price is a little bit higher than traditional places but you get what you pay for!"

Our first visit and we will definitely be returning, we have a granddaughter who has been diagnosed with coeliac disease so this is great for our family, now that we can visit at anytime

The fish and chips from POSH are great. Always cooked to order so perfectly hot and fresh. Quality ingredients used and decent packaging. Despite being a step above the regular chippy it’s still great value.

Food is excellent staff are great manager is lovely one of the nicest person u will ever meet!! Great atmosphere on match day really do reccomend it for few pre match beers and to drown ur sorrows after game!!

I am originally from Newcastle and used to live not far from the coast. The fish and chips are amazing. Posh fish and chips are on the same level, they are the best fish and chips I have had since living in Peterborough.

Great visit here last night food was amazing, love the new decor and fantastic service! The monkfish was so good and I can't wait to go back for the smoked battered sausage. Loving the new take away bit too, looking forward to having gourmet fish and chips at home in my pjs too!

Great to find a really good cod and chips practically in the centre of town. The restaurant was full of happy people on their Xmas office lunch by the look of things. Ordered takeaway, cooked fresh, generous portions although seemed a little pricey to my New Zealand wallet. Will go back to warm my tummy on a cold winters day.
