Lovely fresh Italian one of the best tasting I’ve been to well worth the travel from Glasgow prego sticks for desert we’re the winner by far, the owner was a true gent defo be back again blows a coias out the water

This restaurant is charming and has a beautiful decor. We tried the weekend menu and enjoyed everything we ordered. For dessert, we had the prego pizza sticks which were absolutely delicious. We would definitely come back again.

Visited this modern restaurant a few weeks ago, me and my friend enjoyed some pizza and pasta and a bottle of wine. It was a little bit pricy but if you go for the lunch or early evening menu it’s a very good deal. We will be back!

We ate here yesterday as a family if 4. We had a set menu for easter snd it didn’t disappoint, great choice of food. Tasted very fresh. Staff were lovely and made our experience even more enjoyable. Nice to see a local restaurant so busy

A truly wonderful experience at Prego tonight. Shared platter to start, specials for main and shared Nutella cheesecake for dessert. The food was spectacular and the service was exemplary. Terrific value all round with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. A great restaurant run by people who love truly love food. Would recommend to anyone.

I brought some friends to dinner on a very quiet evening and was initially worried when we arrived. However, we ended up having a fantastic evening! The food was excellent as usual, but it was the staff that truly made the night special. The owner's son and our lovely waitress were attentive and entertaining from the moment we walked in. The service at this restaurant is always good, but it was exceptional last night.

Mixed feelings on our last visit. The starter was lovely and I couldn’t fault it. However the main of lasagne wasn’t nice at all. Very, very dry, meat seemed to be burnt, the sauce was extremely sharp. Personally I wouldn’t have served it. A shame as again the starter was lovely but the lasagne was really bad. The staff were so friendly so I didn’t want to make a big deal of it. I’d maybe return but definitely opt for a different main.

We’ve been to Pregos as a family (4 adults 1 young child many times now and we have always have a fantastic dining experience. The food is always delicious, classic Italian dishes that are always served at there absolute best. The staff are so friendly and full of great chat that it starts to feel like you’re visiting friends. (On a side note managed to convince my 3 year old that if they ate their dinner they would be given ice cream and it worked!

Arrived for dinner and drinks with a few girlfriends. Saw the cheese pull on the garlic bread from a viral TikTok and knew we had to try. Guy who seated us was eccentric but charming and efficient. Ordered our drinks from a good selection and all going well. Starter came out. They were nice. I ordered bruschetta which was nice. The mains really let it down through. The lasagne was burnt, dry and stodgy and the “garlic bread” was toasted cheese so disappointed. My friend pollo Milanese which was tasteless. My friend has a pizza and that was delicious she said. I would have made a compliant and sent it back but there wasn’t a single waiter or waitress to be seen for about 20 minutes. No one as...
