"I wanted to update my review of 3 07 below, after deciding to return to The Prince for a Friday evening meal. As always, keeping it open and honest. I had so hoped this would be a better experience, but sadly, it was not to be. Our booking was for 18:45 and the pub was busy. I guess the additional seating outside allowed for many more patrons. Unfortunately, this contributed to us having to wait 90+ minutes for our meal. At one point, I heard the kitchen wasn't taking any more orders as the backlog of food was just too great. It made this worse because when I went to order our second round of drinks it took 30+ minutes of queueing to get these. You feel that the front of house has been expanded and improved, but the operations (bar and kitchen) just can't cope. Once the food arrived (and thank you to your chef for popping out and apologising for the delay), we found it to be delicious. Lastly our drinks. We were very excited to try the variety of cocktails on offer, especially after the photos that were posted on the pub Facebook. They were ok, apart from not having all the cocktails in the menu available. The part that spoiled it for us was the fact that we received our cocktails in plastic pint glasses with no straws. I would have hoped as a sit down customer to enjoy our cocktails in regular cocktail glasses. The plastic reminded of my uni days music festivals. A real pity for our local walking distance pub, as we will venture elsewhere in the future. Breakfast 03 07 The Prince refurb looks wonderful, creating a lovely atmosphere. We were excited to try out the brunch service, and unfortunately, this left us disappointed. We requested coffee with our breakfast, and told that they were out of coffee. We accepted this as we understand their could be delivery issues, but was very surprised when the very next patron ordered coffee and was promptly served their coffee. We also ordered 2 Traditional English breakfasts, which for the most part was tasty except for the fact that the menu states 2 rashers of bacon, and both my wife and I only had 1 rasher on our plates. Hoping these are just teething problems."

received the Christmas celebration of my sohnes at the prince and had many compliments from our guests who really enjoyed the day. have already recommended others. great food, great service, great staff and great atmosphere.

my absolute favorite pub in the region. the personal is friendly and will get to know them as a local. good eating, always have planned events, good atmosphere and just a more general great place to have fun and meet friends!

The 'new ' Prince is a marvel! Great refurbishment, amazing service from wonderful staff. I 've been drinking here on and off for over 30 yrs, and this is the best I 've seen it with a wonderful atmosphere and great mix of customers.

my family visited this pub and the personal is simply amazing. we wanted to meet for tee and they allowed us to nibble and bring cake and bring them out for us. this kind of generousness and not expected something back had won us over. the personal was very friendly to us and our foreign visitors friends loved so hospitable that they already wrote to their friends about it. we will return definitiw, but eat there and not take our food next time. Thank you. prinz management for a great team. x

came today on the chance, we wanted don beni, but unfortunately it was closed! it is the first time that I was in the prinzen, many times passed, but never thought to walk in. well, I'm so glad we made it! had a warm welcome, the decor was really nice and not what I expected from outside. very clean and the staff was warm and friendly, nothing was a problem. we have the food that I had the chicken caesar flatbread great presentation and tasted delicious, papa had the pork belly, mum had the lachs fillet really good looking eating, which tasted as good as it looked!
