"Lovely little country pub with a sizable contained beer garden. Climbing frame for the kids and there is coop with some sort of fowl which the kids liked. Although we didn't eat the food smelt tasty and we will be back to try it out. It looked well presented. The pub itself has exposed beams and a large open fireplace which I'm guessing will be lovely on those long winter nights. Staff were chatty and welcoming."

Lovely food and drink. Lovely beer garden with a climbing thing for kids, some shade and some benches in the open. Dog friendly, nice and peaceful will definitely be coming back.

This is a truly picturesque countryside pub with a lovely beer garden at the back. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I highly recommend it! I stopped by during a bike tour, and it was exactly what I needed.

Fantastic place. Booked a surprise 65th birthday party for 18 people. Everyone complimented how nice the food was. Even… An 8 year old can only eat gluten free food and they sourced gluten free food especially for what she wanted.

Highly recommend, food was fantastic, lovely restaurant . had our wedding anniversary and a birthday meal ,here with our family ,they all said they enjoyed their meals .,owners are very nice ,they to are celebrating having the Queens head for a few years now xx

Came in for lunch whilst staying at 5 lakes as its only about 5mins away. Was a very friendly pub, staff were nice and chatty, had the fish and chips, chips were excellent and the battered cod was also nice. Reasonably priced good food and the beer wasn't too expensive either

I visited this lovely pub for drinks with a friend one evening, and I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and they even let us stay an extra five minutes after closing to finish our pints! I highly recommend this charming little pub for a delicious pint, and I will surely return. It almost felt like we were part of the family!
