"Went to Fuego last night, one of our favourite haunts and it wasn’t great. Sat at the bar with my wife and daughter and it took 20 minutes to get a drink 20 minutes. We very nearly walked out. Starters were fine but our main order arrived sporadically, broccoli first, 3 mins later a couple more plates and 5 mins later the patatas bravos ridiculous. 3 people and £170 we spent less at the Ivy last week, where the service was fantastic and we had a memorable meal. "Although my meal, in the end, was delicious, it was a torturous route to get there. Oh, and before I forget, I did send a message directly to the YR via their website ‘contact us’ facility on Sunday 24 Sept, but not so much as an acknowledgement which downgraded my review one star further. I have a dairy intolerance and telephoned in advance to check I could be catered for and was assured I could be. I ordered sea bass and was assured dairy free. It arrived covered in a sauce but again assured it was dairy free. I was suspicious so asked yet again and a second waitress went to “double” check. After a few seconds my plate was whisked away. I was with a group of friends but at no time was any one of us asked about allergies or intolerances. I could have been severely unwell and this is not just about me. I expect better. Room for improvement"

"Please dont waste your time. I am a local resident and every time I go I am met with rude staff, poor service, bad food and flat drinks. Most frustrating is there inconsistent messaging around their outside sitting area you call and they say you can’t book and then you turn up and they say you needed to book or they must priortise hotel guests “incase” they book while tables stand empty across fhe place. Save yourself time and energy and go to the Winning Post where all the locals know it is the best food, service and atmosphere, with the friendliest staff around!"

"We have visited this restaurant many times over the past few summers and always make a reservation. We went on a Saturday night and noticed that while there were quite a few people outside in the front, there were not as many inside, which was unusual for 7:30pm. We ordered water (although I dislike paying £4.95 for it when tap water is fine), two large Montepulciano wines, two American Hot pizzas, orange and lemon sorbet (which was delicious), a sambuca, and a double espresso. The total bill came to £96 before tip. The food was good with no complaints, but we experienced mixed service from the waitstaff - one was friendly and even gave us a complimentary grappa when we left, while the other was abrupt. We heard rumors that the restaurant might be changing its name. Despite this, we followed a recommendation and made a reservation for the following two weeks at Pazzia. We hope the restaurant maintains its quality as it would be a shame if it is not the same as before. We will revisit next summer and provide an update."

"Food and drinks are getting worse each time and now even the service was bad. Last time we went there the food was just bad, the cocktails were so bad that they even the manager said she wouldn’t drink it. We came back today just for drinks and snacks to give it another chance, we sat outside for a good while and no one came to serve, went to the bar and asked if they would serve outside, the answer was “No, you have to use the QRCode”, since the Internet is so bad I asked, can I order here then? “No, we are too busy serving the back so you have to order with QRCode”.
