Good food and service and easy car parking. Close to the meadows and river.

The pub food was very simple. We ordered the burger and chicken Kiev, but unfortunately, both dishes were not very good.

There is so much to love about this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. Plus, the prices are reasonable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return if we have the chance.

We have a family reunion each year and this was the second time we've chosen this venue for a family meal. The service was good, considering how busy the pub was. The food was perfectly cooked however, my only comment would be my starter could have been smaller as quite rich so struggled to eat it all but was lovely. Speisekarte ansehen

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My party and I were frequently neglected and had to repeatedly ask for things. It was frustrating that the service charge was automatically included in the bill, especially since the staff frequently forgot about us. The food was also subpar, as the pork was poorly seasoned and overly fatty. Overall, it was an expensive and mediocre dining experience.

Although the pub staff are lovely and the venue dog friendly the food was extremely disappointing for the high price tag. Some elements were good, great yorkies, carrots, cabbage, battered fish but things you expect to be great just weren’t even up to scratch. Soft roast potatoes, crackling not crunchy, cauli cheese Mac n cheese watery and truly terrible no flavour at all! Curry sauce mushy peas absolutely terrible for the price you’re paying. Although service was excellent the girl who sorted our bill got confused and didn’t do it correctly resulting in some confusion to end the meal. Such a shame as we were so looking forward to some really great grub. Will not be returning in a hurry but...

Menu very limited, would have liked more meat and fish choices, also more vegetarian and rice dishes. Plenty of outside space was wonderful and choice of tables was lovely. However the table we were first shown to was overwhelmed with a disgusting smell from liquid presumably overflowing from blocked drains, which unfortunately ruined the enjoyment of our main meal, which we mentioned on several occasions, and were assured that repairs were in hand. We insisted on moving away from the reek for our desserts and had a lovely table in the garden. Staff were polite friendly and timely on the whole.
