It's a great little pub this. Lynsey and family have done well to build it up over the years to a friendly local without airs and graces. It is unspoilt and offers consistently good food and live music. It's a credit to the grass roots of the owner.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the fantastic staff and excellent service. I parked my taxi and went in to use the restroom. While I was there, I realized I could use a nice cold drink and grabbed a refreshing cola to take with me, especially since Sainsbury's across the street was closed. I also asked for a bottle of water, and to my surprise, she gave it to me for free. I'll definitely be recommending this place to others!

we visited yesterday evening after reading reviews on travel advisers, as we were in a hotel 15 minutes away. we were not disappointed! eating was delicious and very good value for money. I had the chicken and cheeseburger with chips and wobble rings, it was delicious. my man is a big steak fan and so he tried the 10 ounce rap, he said it was the best steak he had in a long time, not an oz fat on it! the chips were nice, chip shop style without the fat. we will definitely return.
