Nice, clean, consistent pub. Could only be improved by stocking Thatchers cider in my opinion.

Today it was the turn of the Red Lion in Wilsead to have us check them out. A pleasent, if not your quintessential pub but was first licensed in 1671 to Grace Freeland. Had a refreshing John Smith and a cool Fosters. Fantastic hanging baskets and a good ambiance.

we had visited this pub before and the food was good, but now it is under new management we decided to give him an attempt, and we are glad that we did because the food was excellent, it is all homemade by the chef. The...pub is very welcoming and the personal friendly, we will definitely go back there

visited here on a Tuesday night. bar was quiet, but the service was great! lady behind the bar got her name not very friendly and welcoming. that was great, we had the chickenburger and the goujons. the homemade three times baked. chips were fantastic! specials board was also very diverse, many good options. great experience, beautiful little beer garden also! Awfull service very rude Manager beside he was aproched twice about the way he handle the complaint should you want to be well served and looked after just avoid . Manner you grown with so is not something you pick and I guarantee neither the voice or the attitude are kept to a professional level . Good luck with keeoing up the business with this sort of attitude

our first visit for dinner and the cake is fabulous. I usually do not order a cake because they are in the usually disappointing, but these were delicious, much filling, crunchy baked and gravy on the side. the food is freshly prepared by gary and...serves cake hot. the premise are clean and warm and mary who recently took over the pub was very friendly and friendly. we recommend and would definitely visit again.

Right to begin. Food was poorly cooked. Fish was served in oil older than my grandad. We complained and the manager acted very juvenile with attitude refusing to hear the complaint. He was telling is how we should be complaining. Outrageous isn't. How would you feel if this happened to you. It felt like i could not convey my complaint at all.
